Become a Messenger of peace

A legend of the ancient Greece narrates a runner named Pheidippides ran from Marathon of the city-state of Athens, a distance of about 25 km, to announce the defeat of the Persians at the battle of Marathon in 490 BC. Unfortunately after delivering his message of hope, fell in and died of exhaustion. Messengers of similar ancient Greeks were highly esteemed by their resistance, courage and strength of character in the performance of vital messages from one place to another in times of war and in times of peace.

Another former messenger is the Angel Gabriel who is said to be a Messenger of God in many religions Abrahamic faith Christian to Islamic members of the Bahai. Angel Gabriel appeared several times in several books of the Bible, but is probably best known for its message announcing the birth of the baby Jesus, the Prince of peace.

In more modern times, Paul Revere was a famous Messenger in American history which, through his legendary nocturnal excursion, has warned Patriots invading British forces. The common denominator among all these messengers of history is the message: peace.
