It is half the cause of Radical East international terrorism?

The ten countries with the most incidents of terrorism

The ten countries with the most incidents of terrorism

We all know the dangers of terrorism and we've all heard the statistics that show there's a higher probability of getting struck by lightning than dying in a terrorist attack. While that may be true for some nations, let's take a look at a few countries where lightning isn't exactly the biggest concern. The following is a list of countries with the most incidents of terrorism. The ranking is ordered using data from a 2010 Maplecroft report. Maplecroft is an international risk management consultancy.

10. Russia

Russia has been a terrorist hot spot since violence began in 1999 over the breakaway region of Chechnya. There have been some pretty large-scale terrorist attacks in the country since then such as the 'Moscow theater hostage crisis' in 2002 and the 'Beslan school hostage crisis' in 2004. The conflict in the Caucasus has died down since its height, but corruption, race tensions and a dilapidated security apparatus exacerbate the situation. With Putin on track to once again become president of the Russian Federation, it's unlikely that any novel political solutions will be applied to Russia's security situation. Russia will probably remain on this list for the foreseeable future.

9. Yemen

Yemen grabbed the number 9 spot on this list for the 2010 year end. While Yemen has a long history of Al Qaeda activities, such as the U.S.S. Cole bombing in 2000, in recent years it has become the focal point of Al Qaeda activities. The Al Qaeda Yemen branch is now considered by many security experts to be the most active and capable branch of the terror organization. They were behind such dastardly plots as the 'cargo plane bomb plot' in 2010 and the 'Christmas day bomber' in 2009. The United States has placed a considerable amount of effort into combating terrorism in Yemen and has been carrying out drone attacks in the country for the better part of a decade. The popular uprising against authoritarian President Saleh that started in January of 2011 has weakened the state and the country is at risk of splintering along tribal and north-south lines from its civil war almost two decades ago.

8. Philippines

The Philippines makes the list because of its Islamic militant groups who are fighting to breakaway from the central government. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front has been waging a campaign of violence in the Philippines since the 1970's in the hopes of gaining an independent and Muslim homeland on the island of Mindanao. Their most prolific attack was in 2007 when their militants beheaded 11 Filipino marines. Another militant group operating in the Philippines is Abu Sayyaf, a small but deadly group with links to Al Qaeda. Abu Sayyaf has been responsible for some high profile incidents, such as when its militants occupied a Malaysian dive resort in 2000, the kidnapping of 20 people from a luxury resort on the island of Palawan in 2001 and the bombing of Superferry 14 in 2004. In 2009 the militant group even killed two American soldiers on operation in the country.

7. Thailand

Definitely the most popular tourist destination on this list, Thailand is more known for its beautiful beaches and raucous nightlife than for its terrorist violence. Similar to the Philippines, Thailand's violence stems from a Muslim insurgency in its south. Unlike the Philippines, Thailand's insurgency is relatively new, with the violence only beginning in earnest in 2004. This armed insurgency centered around the border area with Malaysia confounds most experts as the goals and membership of its militant groups are relatively unknown. The rationale of the groups is also unclear. Muslim representation in the Thai government has steadily increased over the past few decades and the economy of Southern Thailand has also improved. In 2011 the Thai government conceded that violence was increasing and not likely to subside anytime soon.

6. Colombia

A regular member on this list, in recent years Colombia has nonetheless taken steps to decrease violence. Not quite the narcoterrorist nightmare of the 1990's, certain areas of the country such as Bogota have seen marked improvement. However, violence in the country's rural areas is still a problem. Far-right paramilitary groups such as AUC still operate (albeit at a limited capacity) and the power of FARC remains far reaching. Boasting over ten-thousand militants and operating in 500,000 square kilometers of jungle, FARC shows no signs of a total defeat, despite blows to its leadership. In 2010 alone FARC was responsible for the killing of over 450 Colombian soldiers.

5. Palestine Palestine comes in at number five on this list. The country would have undoubtedly occupied the first spot on this list ten years ago at the height of its Second Intifada. Five places is a small improvement but an improvement nonetheless. The continued violence in Palestine today stems mostly from the lack of a political solution to the Israeli occupation and to Hamas's continued control of the Gaza Strip. Hamas has used its stronghold in Gaza to launch rocket attacks on Israel that have resulted not only in Israeli deaths, but in massive retaliations from the Israeli military. Politically, the hard line stance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has led to a freeze in relations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. This relationship must thaw before any long lasting peace can be achieved.

4. Afghanistan

The only surprise here is that Afghanistan is not higher on this list. NATO and the U.S. military are in the midst of a decade long war in the country, initiated after the 2001 terrorist attacks on New York, that shows no signs of abating. The conflict had been muddling along for years without major commitment in manpower from the West until the end of major hostilities in Iraq, when the attention returned to Afghanistan. This increase in U.S. and NATO involvement as well as a resurgent Taliban have made each year since 2008 deadlier than the last. The United States is expected to withdraw 40,000 soldiers from Afghanistan in 2012 and while this may reduce the volume of terrorist attacks, don't expect the security situation to improve.

3. Iraq

And to think, this is a good ranking for Iraq. After years of being the world's most dangerous country, Iraq has begun falling on this list and now occupies the number three spot. Iraq's entry onto the terrorist hot spot list began with the U.S. invasion in 2003. The subsequent power vacuum created by the ouster of dictator Saddam Hussein led to a large amount of foreign trained terrorists entering the country and to an increase in sectarian violence. This sectarian violence and the terrorists campaign of aggression on the Iraqi people led to the gruesome deaths of over 100,000 Iraqi civilians and for acronyms like IED to become ingrained into our lexicon. The U.S. war machine played its part in this violence and if you don't believe me type 'Blackwater shootings' or 'Collateral murder' into Google.

2. Pakistan

Certainly the most precarious member of the 'nuclear club', Pakistan comes in at number two on the list of terrorist hot spots. Pakistan has had some high profile attacks over the years and its militants have been responsible for carrying out attacks in several different nations. The Pakistani Taliban has transformed into an even more dangerous organization than its Afghan inspiration and more than 2000 Pakistani civilians were killed in terrorist acts in 2010 alone. In a scene straight out of an action movie, in 2011 U.S. Navy Seal commandos raided a compound on the outskirts of Islamabad and killed Al Qaeda terrorist mastermind Osama Bin Laden. This unauthorized raid has led to a rift in Pakistani-U.S. relations, while the presence of Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan has created more questions than answers about the aims of its nefarious ISI intelligence agency. Also in 2011 there have been reports that Pakistan has been using civilian trucks to transfer its nuclear materials to avoid attention from terrorist groups. Pakistan has denied these reports, but either way you should be afraid, very afraid.

1. Somalia

As of 2010 Somalia is now the world's most at risk nation for terrorist acts. This shouldn't be surprising as Somalia has been without a cohesive state since 1991 when its communist government collapsed. The ensuing civil war and famine led to an international military intervention that ended spectacularly after the withdraw of reeling U.S. forces. The chaos of these operations in Somalia led to a reluctance by the international community to engage the country. This began to change in 2008 when the problem of Somali piracy against international shipping on the Gulf of Aden drew international attention and the creation of a multinational maritime security coalition. Meanwhile the internationally recognized Transnational Federal Government has seen little success combating the Islamic insurgency conducted by Al-Shabaab. The Transnational Federal Government has such little control over fragmented Somalia, that it has at times failed to even control the capital of Mogadishu. In 2011, at the request of the Transnational Federal Government and responding to cross-border attacks, the Kenyan military invaded Somalia with a stated goal of eradicating the Islamic insurgency. It remains to be seen whether this will be accomplished.

Five Reasons the War on Terrorism Will Never Be Won With Foreign Invasions

Osama bin Laden and all al-Qaida leadership that aided in the 9/11 attacks should be vanquished. We can also protect our homeland from the next terrorist attack. But none of this requires America to invade a single foreign nation, and here are the five reasons why.

1. America is at risk of more terrorist attacks - but not just from the Middle East According to a recent NYPD report, the greatest terrorist threat to United States citizens now comes from our own people - homegrown terrorists. This is not news to anyone who is aware of how different the terrorist threat is from any other enemy we've faced. John Robb, in his excellent book Brave New War, outlines the myriad ways that any dedicated homicide-minded individual can bypass America's woefully inadequate homeland security and exploit technology to wreak havoc on a massive scale:

"We have entered the age of the faceless, agile enemy. From London to Madrid to Nigeria to Russia, stateless terrorist groups have emerged to score blow after blow against us. Driven by cultural fragmentation, schooled in the most sophisticated technologies, and fueled by transnational crime...terrorists have developed the ability to fight nation-states strategically - without weapons of mass destruction. This new method is called systems disruption, a simple way of attacking the critical networks (electricity, oil, gas, water, communications, and transportation) that underpin modern life."

Depraved desires for maniacal violence and the ability to carry them out are not confined to the foreign world or a single country. It's highly unfortunate that such an obvious fact is so dangerously transcended by American neoconservatives. To spend massive resources on an invasion of a single country and render our military incapable of responding to another threat - all while domestic terrorism grows in danger - is a manifestly asinine policy at best and national suicide at worst. Protecting our nation against terrorism -fourth generation warfare - requires developing decentralized resistance and dynamic local law enforcement. There is no "fighting them over there so they don't attack us here". They're already here. It's about protecting us now.

2. Democracy doesn't stop terrorism, policemen do

The President tells us we must invade Iraq because democracy will stop terrorism. But to think that democratic government does anything but express the views of its subjects is a delusion. Even while great democracies help to sideline radical views, they by no means eliminate the occasional expression of sadistic savagery. Timothy McVeigh and the Unabomber were American. The 9/11 hijackers planned their attacks in Germany. Angry inner city youths recently went on a pyromaniacal crusade in France. Britain's 7/7 bombers were Britons. It's uncomfortable, but the free speech and tolerance that democracy offers can even be a boon to terrorists, allowing them to communicate more openly, practice their faith more openly, and freely associate.

By contrast, brutal dictators are usually quite effective at crushing terrorists. Authoritarian governments are remarkably adept at obliterating any perceived threats to their power, and the threat of terrorism is no different. The Middle East is saturated with iron fist regimes that cleverly market their brutal anti-terrorist activities both as necessary for both public safety and for the Will of Allah. Shining examples of this principle are Saudi Arabia, a backward and repressed Islamic society that actively condemns Islamic terrorists as apostate and is a regime regarded as an ally in the War on Terror; and Syria, a nation that unleashed tanks and bulldozers on its own cities in order to root out the Muslim Brotherhood.

Stopping terrorism has nothing to do with democracy, and everything to do with law enforcement.

3. Invasion doesn't work

While terrorist leaders who aided in 9/11 are a defined and finite enemy, terrorists themselves are not. As the greatest political commentator in American history, the late William F. Buckley, Jr., wrote, "Individual terrorists were only yesterday engaged in ordinary occupations, shocking friends and family when they struck as terrorists." Indeed. One cannot invade Iraq to root out potential terrorists any more than one can invade America to root out potential terrorists. One can only protect against the inevitable strike.

While American special forces should pursue bin Laden and his henchmen with all deliberate speed, traditional nation-state warfare is utterly incapable of fighting terrorism. As Mr. Robb says in Brave New War, "From a security perspective, the most disturbing aspect of 9/11 wasn't the horrible destruction, but that the men who attacked us on that day didn't even factor the opposition of the U.S. military into their planning. Despite tens of trillions of dollars spent on defense over the last decades, this military force proved ineffectual as a deterrent at the point when we needed it most."

Another historical fact counseling against foreign invasion is that no foreign power has ever vanquished a domestic guerrilla rebellion. The most powerful force in the world is a people willing to sacrifice themselves to expel a foreign occupier from their homeland. This helps explain why there was no such thing as al-Qaida in Iraq until America invaded it.

No people should understand the foolishness of foreign occupation more than Americans. Despite living under the freest country in the world in 1776 (Great Britain, providers of natural liberty, the Magna Carta, democratic government and a robust legal system), we still threw off the yoke of foreign power, and rightly so. Our very existence is a testament to the lesson that a people will always fight to expel a foreign presence, no matter how benevolent the imperialist motives.

4. Winning hearts and minds requires living people

Islamofascism is a hideous, benighted, destructive and blasphemous ideology that must be thoroughly denounced by intellectuals around the world. However, reckless American military intervention stands in the way of winning this crucial battle of ideas for several reasons.

First, it diverts world attention from Islamofascist brutality and focuses it on American belligerence. In a world largely of media censorship and ignorant public opinion, it is too easy for Islamofascists to play the victim when American tanks are rolling through their side streets. As we are forced to stoop to their level - fighting amongst civilians, villages and homes - we lose the moral high ground.

Second, American culture is remarkably adept at forging positive opinions of our country through peace and commerce. It was recently reported that as American products finally entered Iraq, locals happily flocked to buy the high quality items, even while they cursed our military occupation. We can make people love America without resorting to force.

Third, moderate Islamic scholars must publicly condemn Islamofascism. But America has recently denied visas (ostensibly for security reasons) to moderate Islamic scholars who happen (for good reason) to vigorously oppose U.S. foreign policy. We must face the fact that many of our allies in the War of Ideas are those who oppose our current prosecution of the War on Terror, and embrace the criticism for pursuit of the greater victory.

5. Yes, they hate our freedom - but they kill us for being over there

One need only consult Osama bin Laden's declaration of war on the United States to find out why he is trying to kill us. Or, if you want it from an intelligent American instead of a murderous lunatic, ask former senior CIA analyst and head of the agency's bin Laden unit, Michael Scheuer. The jihad has nothing to do with our freedoms and has everything to do with our military interventions in the Middle East. Al-Qaida gains financial support, moral justification and willing recruits to kill Americans by arguing that American military presence in the Middle East is interfering with their ability to implement Islamofascism in the Arabian peninsula. News Flash: Islamofascists don't want to rule America; they want to rule Mesopotamia.

Of course, a radical adjustment in American foreign policy will not stop radical Islamofascists from despising the West any more than eight hundred McDonalds haven't stopped the French from hating us. But the point isn't to make them like us; it's to starve the jihad of resources and support. The only way to do that is to stop legitimizing the Islamofascist narrative of an oppressed people suffering under American military occupation.

Recognizing America's foreign policy mistakes is not letting the terrorists win. It is simply an intelligent recognition of reality and our own limitations. We all love this country and desire to remain safe. We do not criticize our nation's foreign policy lightly, nor do we doubt the patriotic sincerity of those who believe otherwise. We only seek to learn from history and ensure that unlike Rome, France, and Great Britain, our glorious empire will not buckle under the weight of ill-advised imperial ventures.

Is terrorism a Global curse - part-4 tangible traits of terrorists?

"Real strength of terrorism lies, in the ability of an individual element to be ready to die for a perceived cause, which, he accepts as true, is threatening his belief or faith, be it religion economic disorder or otherwise"

My dear readers after debating over my OEM theory and various causes of terrorism, in this article I would discuss the individual qualities which a terrorist should have or various terrorists have exhibited in the past. I would also analyze different other traits of so called terrorists or freedom fighters behavior when they operate in disturbed areas. As I believe that it is not difficult to identify and isolate a terrorist, but it is nearly impossible to find out, as to who is a terrorist? The Government of India (GOI) is fighting a never-ending war of terrorism ever since her independence, but many countries of the world have just felt the heat of rising flames of FOTI. Latest upsurge in suicide attacks in Iraq, Pakistan and some other third world countries, where USA and her allies are involved, itself speak about the importance of the issue of debating about the Characteristics and Traits of Individual Terrorists (CTIT).

I would divide the debate in to two segments which, if analyzed and understood well, would be able to make the readers understand as to why an individual is ready to make the supreme sacrifice of his life?

In the first segment, I would deal with certain tangible factors, which one can make out and decipher after interacting with a human; and the second would be intangible traits which I would debate later. What I believe that it is the apogee of unstable state of mind due to which a human ultimately undertakes such suicidal missions. In addition, I also believe that any human can be motivated enough to undertake such operations unrelenting and sustained motivation. I have termed this hypersensitive state of Mind of Human when he is going to execute such criminal mission without repentance as "Mind's Apex Delusionary Destructive State (MADDS). If one becomes mad after MADDS, he can do whatsoever he desires.

It is, therefore, under this state of mind MADDS when an individual attacks and kills numerous innocent, armless and helpless citizens on street without showing the sign of remorse. Infact, most of the terrorists or patriotic leaders praise such attacks. As I believe that two traits are most important for a human to do anything. One, will; and second, sky high dreams, or ambition, or hallucination, or illusion, or phantasm vision and what not. One might call it by any name; but if a terrorist aspires and exhibits strong willpower, he can execute any operation and make others lives miserable as per his terms. It is this trait, which every terrorist leader concentrates and limits his choice of Suicide Attacker and Bomber (SAB), while selecting a Willing Life Sacrificer (WLS) (new word) or Death Embracer (DE). A WLS, I would not say terrorist but a Man of Individual Mission (MIM), despite knowing well that he would be blown up into hundreds of pieces, he still undertakes mission happily.

I am sure that most of you would agree with my views that one country's terrorist might be other country's Freedom Fighter and Patriots (FFP), therefore, to say that whom USA and her allies perceive as terrorists, they are truly speaking being considered as true Soldiers of Islam and Jihad (SIJ) or Freedom Fighters of that nation.

In my view, the tangible traits, like physique bearing and others are those which can be gauged, judged and evaluated to assess an individual's life graph and his behavior with in a society or an organization to prepare his behavioral pattern, but intangible traits like morale are those which can not be fathomed by anyone at any level. However, I believe that intangible traits can be shaped to reach at the zenith of illusionary and perceived achievement state of mind MADDS of MIM for the ultimate victory of their cause of resistance. Most of the MIM generally live in their own world of hallucination and illusion thinking that, after their attack, the situations would be in their favor.

What I called such State of Mind is the Trance Impulsive Mind Stimulus Syndrome (TIMSS). I also believe that until unless one reaches the apex of TIMSS situation, he can not undertake a SAB. Various video tapes of suicide attackers and MIM released so far by terrorists or so called liberation movement leaders have often revealed that the last videoed message of most of the suicide elements ultimately lead to dejection and desperation. I termed such state of mind as Trounced Resistance Disorder State of Mind (TRDSM). TRDSM is the state of mind of an individual when he losses his own capabilities of hearing, collating, sifting, analyzing, rationalizing and taking decisions, without thinking about the good or bad effects of his actions; after repeatedly getting impregnated with the prolonged and deliberated doses of religion, society, cause and the mission. His mind is so much influenced by the leaders that he cease to use own mind..

I have observed that when terrorist leaders have exhausted all other means of achieving desired publicity and propaganda, they use such MIM to kill maximum infidels for Muslims and enemy for others. Once, I have asked a religious teacher as to why he was not sending his one son out of eight siblings for Suicidal attacks. He glared at me with burning eyes but cunning smiles; and very casually replied, sir! Jihad is for the general public and not for us? Readers can well understand that as to what these lines really convey? A MIM is made to believe that his sacrifice would bring victory to the resistance movement; and he would not only go to heaven but join the God, therefore, he/she should make supreme sacrifice of his/her life.

I strongly oppose and condemn such blindfolded suicidal acts which kill hundreds of innocent citizens. I believe that if;

quote" one can not enjoy the actual heaven on the planet earth; which he can see with his own eyes, than what is the guarantee that after killing so many innocent people; he would not go to the hell; than the heaven" unquote. Anyhow, as per my interpretations, I call a person terrorist who undertakes heinous and brutal crimes such as general shooting, bombing, blasting or massacring against naïve, innocent, armless and vulnerable simple citizens who have nothing to do with any movement. The twin tower grounding in USA, Akhshardam Temple attack in Gujarat, India, peaceful praying people bombing in Mosque Peshawar in Pakistan and Iraq are all the examples of such attacks. He might be launched by any patriotic group, freedom fighter or self acclaimed protector of religion but I perceive is a terrorist attack because all the people who died were weak, feeble and unable to defend as per all the religion of world including Islam. Infact, the Prophet and the Holy Quran had gone a step farther in protecting women, children and aged even under extreme war environment; what to talk about peaceful circumstances. If such operations are launched against armed soldiers, it merit the claims; but blowing up women, children and aged moving in markets, journeying in trains and buses; and waiting at places to reach home is really an act of terrorism and must be renounced as such.

After analyzing about mental state let me share my views on the tangible traits of a MIM and the terrorist elements:

· One; Physical Bearing Appearance (PBA). The terrorist mentors while selecting an elementary member, I call them "Element" take full care. Terrorist leaders, first analyze the mission, task and methods to do; and thereafter search to enroll recruits to accomplish their mission.

· Well established liberation movements and so called terrorist groups like Al Qaida, Fateh, Hamas, Irish Republican Army (IRA), United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) and many others have well coordinated core organizations to undertake various terrorist's acts. Therefore, three different types of PBA attribes are essential for different tasks such as killing, extortion, kidnapping, smuggling courier services, intelligence gatherings and military wing operation. If you review the PBA of various captured and killed terrorists, you will find that every member of such groups has different PBA.

· Readers can analyze that terrorist have enrolled and used all types of Elements. I have noted that terrorist leaders have not only recruited healthy adults but also used completely physically challenged, blind and armless Element as well. The PBA of all of them differed as per task.

· They generally used the aged, females, girls and children as couriers or to gather informations of Security Forces where as well build and masculine adults are selected for military wing.

· I suggest that there may by a different BPA of any terrorist but all terrorists have a common symptom of suspicion through PBA movement. The remedial measure I recommend to an alert soldier to look for suspicious movement. A terrorist can easily detect with different PBA just observing the movement for a day or two.

· Two; Communication and Conversation Scarceness (CCS). The most important aspect of identifying a terrorist is his fear of exposure while communicating or conversing with third person. To avoid suspicion, these Elements acts as follows:

o 1) talk less, brisk, short and fast but always in hurry;

o 2) talk to the point;

o 3) very scary to reply unwanted questions;

o 4) do not want to be friend immediately;

o 5) very polite and sober while interacting;

o 6) generally found out to be short tempered and irritating if delayed beyond a time limit;

o 7) Talk around the bush exhibiting ignorance and lack of knowledge of the area or talk like foreigner who wants help. However some of them are conversely intelligence. Other Elements, other than suicide and military wing recruits are very polite, sweet, social and cordial while talking and would often win over your heart through various talks which suits you.

o 8) Generally noted these elements avoid any discussion while traveling but if involved would always lead their conversation towards their point, religion or ideology to debate.

o 9) Often heard spitting venom against their enemy, government or challengers.

o 10) As and when an element realizes some mistake in the public place, he would immediately say sorry and would also begin to beg, plead for pardon and mercy. He can go to the extent of touching down anyone's feet to avoid drawing attention of others. My husband once informed that he had captured more than a dozen terrorists of different outfits due to this secret trait of their reaction. How, I would discuss later?

Most important remedial measure is to trained Security Forces personnel to be at various ticket booking places to detect terrorists.

· Three; Movement Activities Posture/s (MAP). It is the most important trait through which SF can nab every terrorist who ventures out of his camp. My husband has revealed that every time he went out for an operation with troops, he apprehended nearly ten to twelve terrorists, their overt and covert supporters and various other elements due to strict movement code analysis. I believe that I SF only pays attention on MAP characteristics of terrorists; they can apprehend every suspicious moving individual. I after lot of debate with my husband has jotted down the following commandments to watch such as;

o A) Suspected Element of Terrorists (SET) will always walk very fast, briskly and would seems to be nearly running;

o B) SET would often be jumping small drains, broken road patches and dirty road patches rather than crossing like a normal citizen;

o C) He would mostly seen moving his/her arms two and fro rapidly;

o D) SET would generally move with care and safety, thus, ensuring that he does not touches any one in the crowd. If by chance any one touches or he pushes someone, he would immediately plead guilty and seek forgiveness or say sorry repeatedly to avoid SF attention;

o E) Enters railway platforms, airports and bus stands just before the end of last minute scheduled time entry, and expresses his urgency through brisk walk and hand movements;

o F) Often noted seen catching or boarding trains while sliding out of platform or just before closer of doors like UK and Europe trains;

o G) Walks aimlessly away from the main crowd at a corner or uncommon place;

o H) He would walk initially some distance very fast as if someone is chasing him or SET is getting delayed; but after traversing for over 200 to 300 meters, he would just slow down for time being to look behind, act like doing something and again begin walking. I termed such walk as Toe Jumping Walk (TJW);

o J) He would minimum look back once after every 75 to 100 meters of his pacing to avoid Trail Pursuers (TP);

o K) Often seen slowing down and stopping after reaching at Selected Place of Action (SPA) and loiter aimlessly for time being;

o L) SET sometimes seen walking with slanting body to wade through crowd. One can easily detect such people in public places. A common citizen does not walk like them;

o M) I have observed yet another important walking attrib of two elements walking for a mission. They would walk one behind other with same pace and speed if moving in pair but maintaining a safe distance to avoid being captured, Good Eyes can identify and pinpoint such movements;

o N) Often in queues, SET elements continue to make movement restlessly to hurry the things. Often seen shouting at the control clerks or others to hurry up to avoid inconveniences to others but actually he exhibits sign of nervousness and fear of getting stranded even for ten minutes;

In addition to the above MAP, I would also discuss a few other common habits and signs which SET elements exhibit;

o 1) While walking continue to tighten fists and jaws repeatedly to control anger and hatred;

o 2) Most important but common, SET walking attrib (characteristic) is that he would often walk with eyes glaring and scanning all around thus making his head movement very uncommon in the crowd;

o 3) Lastly, I would say that he walks to prove innocence and urgency with least exposure to SF and TP.

o 4) The only difference when some terrorist operatives walks slow is that when a women courier and intelligence operatives work. They generally walk slow showing pregnancy or illness to gain sympathy and information or transport required arms and other material while walking; otherwise most of the SET Elements make movement as I have debated for the benefit of a common citizen and various state and international agencies.

· Apparent Exceptional Activities Traits(AEAT) In addition to the above, I would list out certain AEAT which every citizen can identify to alert various Terrorist Counteraction Think Tanks (TCTT) and SF if need be:o 1) Most of the terrorists would like to remain isolated from main crowd. They do not mingle up with people and behave as such. Though it is very common with terrorist but uncommon amongst masses and public;o 2) SET does not initiate a conversation and try to avoid if someone initiates. Infact, they often rebuke fellow passengers and order them to keep quite;o 3) mostly SET element would pretend to be reading something; but most fanatic terrorists often seen reading religious books in public or some other irrelevant books but common amongst terrorist;o 4) SET if not reading would always make believe to be sleeping to avoid attention but always look from the side corner of eyes to remain alert about any movement around him;o 5) Generally cover their face while traveling in plane, trains or buses with magazine or book thus exposing their facial identity minimum. I have observed that such Elements even partially cover their faces while checking in for boarding ;o 6) The hard core terrorists have often been found grinding teethes, tightening jaws and fists;o 7) Normally seen kicking anything lying on their way with anger and energy of success while walking;o 8) Set would normally stand and wait alongside a queue or at the corners of any queues without disturbing general public; o 9) Most of the SET Elements often seen standing a little away from their luggage at railways stations, airports and bus stands; and

o 10) SET would often exhibit conspicuous in behavior, signs of politeness, empathy and alertness.

What I believe that "the real strength of terrorism lies in the ability of an individual element to be ready to die for a perceived cause, which, he accepts as true, is threatening his belief or faith, be it religion economic disorder or otherwise" My endeavor to bring out various tangible factors would hope to educate all the

citizens, but I would cover intangible factors in next part. I have dedicated these series of article to all the innocent people who lost their lives in various conflicts without any outcome. Had we used peaceful means none of my beloved human being would have been killed. God's will prevails and nasty people would continue to create unrest and instability in and around you.

I, S Kalpna Sharma, am a freelance journalist who frequently write on various issues relating human values. My impetus of debate has been always focused on current issues which affect human beings life and social behavior. In this series I would be sharing my views on rising menace of terrorism or patriotic movements world over. As always try to bring out debates on human values, my readers support base become large.

And - series - frustration and Global terrorism (part - I)

Definition of frustration:

Frustration is a State of mental health when becomes a person - psychologically hampered due to certain facts - desperate, emotionally left only that led him to think useless and depressed because of the cultural circumstances that left a good impression, feel for fame, rename to show their "skills" calls. All these events are collectively termed frustration.

Definition of terrorism:

It is a term that encompasses a broad spectrum of meaning depends on many factors that religion is the largest. Any action taken against the will of a person can be defined as an obstacle and if this obstacle and constraint based on religion, then, becomes the end of terrorism in many parts of the world. In fact, in countries where Islam (Muslim) is one minor religion, the application of the doctrine is seen as an act of terrorism... For example, the first impression of a Muslim with a beard and normal full-dressed would lead to an impression of a fundamental and terrorists while living in Europe. It may be that he is a good citizen, paying the same tax, doing the double amount of work... and I like to take any form new traditions of the country gradually.

Outline of the story:

Unfortunately, through the dusty books found in libraries, one can point out that terrorism was more or less in all over the world in different ways. In Platonic time period ca. 400 BC were found even those criminal activities. Accordingly, said, "If there is crime in a society, means there is no justice"... so progressively rolling far pages we give account some fights, wars and a "race" for power, fame and the political superiority of a nation in neighbouring or other leading give us an impression of terrorism. We skip those pages and reach the modern era... the French Revolution of 1789 has been regarded as a "reign of terror", the World War I II, the Soviet cold war, the Sri Lankan Tamil Tigers, fighters for freedom in the subcontinent solve India and Pakistan in 1947, Palestinian movement that led to a gear party in 1968 as the Popular Front for the liberation of Palestine (P.F.L.P.) by the hijacking of an aircraft of the freedom them attacks 9-11, London, Madrid, bombing, Red Mosque issue plan are an example of radical activities in many ways. More or less the main issue is the desire for freedom, independence, free from life and a hidden message or a conspiracy against the prevailing social system that they have many failures or only others teach a lesson...

Relationship between frustration and Global terrorism:

Currently, Parallels only with religion terrorism as seen through the media or through the eyes of a person of European middle class. People with positions have gone under study the reasons for this type of activities and actions, but very little. Generally the opinion of Europe and all the advanced counties is, somehow, when the word "terrorism" is a thought automatic Islamic religion is based on a person's mind. A statistical study shows that about 80% of people who have some general knowledge of the world get a negative image towards radicalism when even a name with Arab Fund abruptly comes before them.
In relation to Islam, are partial staff speaking in the name of Allah, where as there are hundreds of other significant ways. Terrorist activities have been mixed by different meanings. Someone living in non-Islamic countries involuntarily would think that a man of dark-skinned with black beard as a terrorist in the Islamic country. It is not the count that he can be is a European from its Islamic roots. The concept here is only to understand the nature of peace and the characteristic of resist others friendly point of view! Reflect those values moralists Islam spread makes about 1400 years and not with can somehow I think that many people in the world!

Case 1: someone not given its position that thinks he deserves

Case 2: to change the system that a group or community of people that is not on the right track and want to adjust with some laws.

Case 3: Religious fanatic, using these interpretations that washed the brain in such a way that the terrorists only one - directional output to that solution.

Case4: When notes that the country is ruled by unjust and criminal mind people...

Anyway, in the end all the factors, i.e. wishes, revolutionary changes or religious nature in some way are pivoted about the frustrating feeling of an individual that lead to obtain the collection of the same people around a round table. When he thinks that his dynamic skills are being exploited, not da rewarded what deserved getting psychologically irritated and at the end he deliberated the explosion in a "blow himself" ignoring the fact that who will be in charge of his family, fame, the name of the country, more all influence by other Nations on him and his country of residence. One can become a person Iraqi but crossing that boundary of humanity is not allowed in any type of major religions. At this time of deep "this brain" that one achieved as a result of total anguish and frustration, the shoulder of ray and support apparently seems that they are missing. Antisocial behavior within that team or group of persons is observed before climbing to a big problem for the harmonious society.

The religion of terrorism

Agents real cause of terror in our society are the same people who live among us, born in families or our neighbor, would have been childhood friends, raised among us, anyone wondering what they would be forced to take this path of destruction, pain and terror? They may be some inherited this trait from their families; Some derive from externalities as financial gains or simply to the point of being famous. Other factors are poverty, ignorance, corruption, political oppression and 'power' seems to be the dominant reasons for all. But how do they do it? So easily... How are capable of easily adulterating minds? Using the pretext of the strongest of the species beliefs most human - "Religion"

Religion will prevail as long as the universe and all those who voluntarily or involuntarily associated to it. Persons that really might be affected by this pretext are extremist by nature, if not, they are molded into one, in the religious context. These days we are afraid to walk on the road, in the air, the water, nothing is less dangerous; each element is violated by terrorism. The majority of those involved in this religious vandalism is unfortunately Islamic. Worldwide most wanted terrorist he is Muslim and he tries to push the factor - "save Islam following the path of martyrdom"; It is in fact a way of killing, which never leads to heaven, but always ends up in hell. No religion preaches killing fellow human. Do it all in the name of God. Nothing can be more embarrassing preach terrorism in the name of God. They do not glorify their religion but only the degrading in all possible ways.

Some Nations harbor and support terrorism and act as a backbone of terrorism. Can the leaders of these Nations never give real thought to the inter-communal? They are too busy to blow their Swiss accounts. They never bother to think what the consequences of such heinous crimes? No, not only is gaining a smear of the image in the world but also to denigrate the image of its citizens. These Islamic terrorists claiming to be the fervent follower of Islam, never achieve what they earn their own Islamic citizens? No one is willing to talk with a Muslim person these days, no one wants to employ them or rented a House, the future will bring more difficulties to survive, which makes it impossible for them to earn a living, especially in non-Islamic countries. All doubt the integrity of a Muslim by the mere fact that the person is an Islamic follower. It is what they want? This is what they want from their so-called 'movements'! They claim to be anti-Christian, they want to kill all Hindus in the world but never it bothers about the fate of the Muslims? In the Muslim world of confidence or their friendship or even talk with them in the near future. This is the destination that have chosen to Muslim colleagues, the path of the deyección and hatred. They deserve everything? Why are they turning into mere puppets in the hands of those ravagers? They endanger the entire Muslim community and leader slightly realizes of ignores him or more to say.

People who spread fear, pain, bitterness, sadness, anguish and torment the lives of many; It may not be the follower of any religion. His claim is a mere hoax fooled disparagingly and perform their own egocentric target 'Rule the world'. Least bother about the effects devastating of terrorism, tangible or intangible, Muslims or anyone, are busy fulfilling their own reasons without scruples.

Do not Muslims suffer attacks and wars? Pumps spare the Muslims? No, nothing in fact in the world challenges the religion can be the basis of terrorism. Terrorism in no way advocates the religion only mean agony, death, hatred, pain and discomfort.

No matter how much the mortality rate has declined from past centuries, certainly this is not the way that we never chose to die. It is always better to die of a terminal illness, to be a victim of terrorism.

It is still an option of the minds that still succumb to these crazy under the veil of religion. Its up to those that easily can engage either save human existence, by which every day is illuminated with light of peace and love; so each flower blooming is not under the shadow of thorns, but flourishes over thorns; so the dark clouds bring only rain and not dusty vapors of suffering.

Terrorism - a review

Introduction

Today's world is an increasingly complex world and in this complex world, new challenges are emerging, have emerged and will emerge. The lesson we learn in life is not to stay still, think beyond and outside the box and try to meet the new challenges with vigor. And among these challenges "Terrorism" is one of the most discussed issue.

Terrorism knows no borders and those days are gone when you could say it happened in country X or continent Y.

If we look at recent history briefly we will see that terrorism has emerged in North America, Latin America in parts of Asia, in the Middle East, in South Asia, in Europe and Africa.

Today, if you try to travel it is a hassle. If your name is Mohammad or Aziz and you are a normal citizen, you are given special treatment in negative sense. Now Before Going deep into this topic it is better to define what is actually meant by the word "Terrorism".

Definition

The Basic and simple definition of terrorism is: Terrorism is an activity which causes terror, and the person who causes this activity is called terrorist. The moment a robber sees a policeman he is terrified. So a policeman is a terrorist for the robber. In this context every Muslim should be a terrorist. When a criminal sees the Muslim he should be terrified, Whenever any rapists sees the Muslim he should be terrified, Whenever any robber sees the Muslim he should be terrified, Whenever any antisocial element sees the Muslim he should be terrified. That's what the Quran says in Surah Al-Anfall Ch. 8 V 60 "Cause terror in the heart of anti-social elements". Those people who are killing around people and who are against humanity Quran say cause terror in their hearts.

I know commonly the word "Terrorist" used only in negative sense (i.e. for a person who causes terror among the common people). For Example Oxford dictionary define the word terrorism as, "the use of violent actions in order to achieve political aims or to force a government to act". So in this context no Muslim should ever terrorize a single innocent human being, it is prohibited in Islam.

Two Different Labels, Same Activity!

We know two different labels are given for the same person for the same individual, for the same activity. 60 years back when India was being ruled by the British Government there were many Indians who were fighting for the freedom of their country. These Indians who were fighting for the freedom of the country by the British government they were called as terrorists. But the common Indians called them Freedom Fighters or Patriots. Same People, Same Activity, Two Different Labels. If you agree with the view of British government that they had a right to rule over India than you have to call those people as terrorists. But if you agree with the view of common Indians that the British were came to India for business they have no right to rule over India, than you have to call them Freedom Fighter or Patriots.

It is therefore important that before a person is judged, he is given a fair hearing. Both sides of the argument should be heard, the situation should be analyzed, and the reason and the intention of the person should be taken into account, and then the person can be judged accordingly. For example to judge whether Osama Bin Laden is a terrorist or not? We cannot give the answer to this question based on the news reports of BBC and CNN. If you want the answer based on the news of CNN or BBC you have no option but to say that he is a terrorist. But the Quran says in Surah Hujrat Ch.49 V.6,"Whenever you get any information, check it up before you pass it over to the second person." So, having lack of reliable information we can't answer these types of answers so easily.

Is Terrorism a Muslim Monopoly?

We know that no religion encourages terrorist acts or violence. We also know that in every religion there are black sheep and the media keep putting these people forward. This is a media conspiracy especially against Islam and the purpose is to push people away from Islam. International media is repeatedly publishing, "All Muslims are not terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims"

Whereas the word "Islam" itself means "Peace", whose fundamentals teach its followers to maintain and promote peace throughout the world. Anyone, be it Muslim or non-Muslim, who kills an innocent Muslim or a non-Muslim, kills the entire humanity. However, Islam goes a step further to say that if one saves innocent lives, the whole of humanity is saved.

Thus every Muslim should be a fundamentalist i.e. he should follow the fundamentals of the Religion of Peace Islam. He should be a terrorist only towards the antisocial elements in order to promote peace and justice in the society.

Historic records proved that a large number of terrorist acts in the 20th and 21st century were committed by non-Muslims. And when we analyze we can surely say without any doubt that terrorism is not a Muslim monopoly. Not only is Terrorism not a Muslim monopoly, it is not even a specialty of the Muslims. It is not even encouraged in Islam. It is prohibited...

"If any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people." - The Quran, Surah Al Ma'idah Ch. 5 V. 32

Islam condemns all forms of Terrorism. All forms of acts which kill innocent human beings, whether it is 9/11, 7/7/93 (Bombay serial blast), 11/7/03 or any other. It is prohibited, you cannot justify killing of any innocent human being.

We also have to condemn..

i. 1000's of Afghani's that are being killed in Afghanistan.

ii. 1000's of innocent people that have been killed in Iraq.

iii. 1000's of people that have been killed in Gujarat.

iv. 1000's of people that have been killed in Palestine.

v. 1000's of people killed in Lebanon.

All sorts of terrorism in which innocent human being are killed are to be condemn. Whether done by Muslims or Non Muslims.

As I mentioned before that most of the religions they don't preach that you should kill innocent human beings. But when we analyze, we have terrorist that clam to profess certain religions and when we analyze they are from all types of religion...

i. We have Christian terrorists

ii. We have Catholic terrorist

iii. We have Jewish terrorists

iv. We have Hindu terrorists

v. We have Muslim terrorist

vi. We have Buddhist terrorists

vii. We have Sikh terrorists

And when we do a survey, (though we know that religions don't encourage killing innocent human beings) and try and find out that the people who have killed the maximum human beings which religion do they profess...

The number 1 who killed the maximum number of human beings is...

1. Hitler.

He had incinerated 6 million Jews And indirectly if you count all the people killed in World War II, 60 million people. Was he a Muslim!? No, He was a Christian.

2. Joseph Stalin (Uncle Joe)

Killed 20 million human beings Including 14.5 million were starved to death.

3. Mao Tse Tsung of China

Killed 14 to 20 million human beings. He was a Non Muslim.

Here we are not trying to say that the followers of these religions were practicing the religion. They were not, otherwise they wouldn't have killed a single innocent human being. But yet we find in the International media that Muslims are being targeted. The Question is Why? And we all know the answer of it.

Injustice a root cause of terrorism.

If we want to abolish terrorism, we have to realize what is the cause of terrorism. The experts say the root cause of terrorism is injustice. When injustice is done on a group of particular people they tend to retaliate, and that is the only cause of terrorism.

For Example after a terrorist attack in India 2 people were caught by the police, they are said to be Muslims and the authority said these people killed so many people in the Hindus temple in revenge. However these people, who did the attack they have a logic. They says, "Thousands of our family members were killed in front of our eyes, we have been looted, we know the person who is responsible for all this, he is our neighbor, we met him regularly, but when we see him it remind us of the toucher, when we go to the law the law does not support us, so we take the law in hand.".

I'm not justifying this act, Islam does not permit you that take the law in hand and kill other innocent human beings, and Islam does not justify to use wrong means to reach the right goals. People should not take the law in their hands. But in spite of this fact reacting like this is natural for any normal human being unless you have so much faith in Almighty God, even we will also do the same, if we do not know our Quran, if we did not know from the Quran it is wrong. So Just because someone cause injustice to me, this does not justify me to kill a third innocent human being.

So we should remove the injustice from this land to eliminate Terrorism otherwise every act to eliminate it would cause of increase in Terrorism.

Elección de esperanza - reflexiones sobre el terrorismo del 11 de septiembre

I'll elaborate on the information I received a few months ago, which was that we were in the middle of a huge shift (that started sometime in mid to late May). Many people who are sensitive to the general energy sensed some sort of shift then. At the time, it was as if we were in the inhalation phase of the shift and everything felt suspended, as if people were figuratively holding their breath. I got that the exhalation would come slowly and gradually beginning in August or September, with it culminating around that time (Sept.?). I further got that the shift had to do with reaching critical mass on this planet of people realizing what needed to be done for world healing, that many people had been in denial or with their heads figuratively in the sand, but would suddenly realize both the significance of world healing and what needed to be done. The "world healing" I was getting had to do with healing of the earth, the environment. The above represents what I got at the time. In addition, I'd like to share some other thoughts with you.

The Terrorism of September 11, 2001

In light of the above, how do I reconcile the above? (As I mentioned before, I did not at all foresee the terror of Tuesday.) Healing of the environment and personal healing, I feel, are related. With respect to geophysical healing, it's obvious that the continual exponential growth of our human population has been a major factor in degrading the environment and increasingly reducing habitat -- from destroying more and more of the global habitat to make room for more humans, to pollution, to extinction of species, to deforestation. We degrade the world in which we live when we see ourselves as separate and apart from it. Conversely, it is in realizing that we are a part of the whole and connected to the smallest creature that the realization dawns that the destruction/loss of vital links in that chain of life will ultimately impact humans. It goes back to whether we see ourselves as stewards or dominators

Personal healing in the sense of peace, on the other hand, also goes back to individual responsibility and starts on the personal level. I heard one local minister on the local news coverage say in the prayer service she was conducting that, "we are now realizing that if one person does not have peace, no one can have peace." We are parts of the whole and both contribute to and are affected by that whole. Put another way, world peace starts on the personal level. The lack of peace refers to not just peace in the sense of absence of military conflict, but also inner peace.

Terrorism

Clearly terrorists do not have inner peace. We all have our "stuff" to varying degrees. In some, the degree of "stuff" is so great that fear, hatred, and anger may outweigh love, kindness, tolerance, etc. I have felt for many, many years that, to be overly simplistic, there are two major energies -- one that attracts/pulls together and one that repels/pushes apart. Love and hate. Kindness and cruelty. Faith/trust and fear. To be a terrorist, I feel, is to be in the grips of fear, hate, judgment, and negativity. Fanatics usually also have mind sets and beliefs so firmly and tightly in place that they cannot perceive clearly, a form perhaps of self-induced brain-washing. Indeed, many of us have beliefs and mind-sets that color our perceptions so that we do not see things clearly and objectively. Fear, hate, negativity, judgment, closed-down attitudes -- these contribute greatly to a lack of personal peace and acting out these negativities, as we saw on Tuesday. This is why personal healing is so very important -- to transmute the negative with the positive and the clear, so that we may see and act clearly and positively.

Personal Response

As to the traumatic events themselves, how do we respond? Obviously, we must all respond in our own way -- from prayer, to visualizing peace and healing, to donating blood, and, yes, even to anger. It is perfectly natural and human to feel anger. The question, though, is whether we act on that anger or stay stuck in that anger. I feel that the human, emotional side of us may feel anger alongside the compassion, sadness, and sympathy. On the other hand, the more spiritual and aware side of us may feel a sense of greater purpose to what happened --- i.e., understanding. (In other words, that what so tragically unfolded must have some purpose.

My point is that, as humans, we exist on those two very different levels: the human emotional one and the higher, spiritually aware one. It is navigating those rocky shoals and synthesizing those two levels that may be challenging. As you know, I feel that everything happens for a reason and I trust that good can come out of pain and difficulty. I trust that good can come out of this horror (a divided country pulling together, for example, a realization of what is important in life, or even possibly a stimulation of the economy). To see that there is a greater purpose can enable us to see that we are often actors playing our roles in the greater drama (while at the same time not minimizing the human component and pain). And yet we can still feel conflicted.

So how do we respond? Do we stay stuck on our human angry level? Do we become xenophobic and label all "foreigners" or Muslims as terrorists? Or do we see the individual faces of terrorism, along with the seeds of fear and discontent that humankind may share?

When we are clear, we realize that we see the same forces of negativity and divisiveness -- anger, fear, hate, judgment, etc. -- in all extremists, whether Bible fundamentalists, Islamic extremists, terrorists, etc. Just as it is true that not all Christians or Jews are terrorists because we see some Christian or Jewish extremists, so is it true that not all Muslims are terrorists. Terrorism is a perversion of a belief in God or a Divine who is benevolent. The common denominator among all extremists and terrorists, whether Islamic, Christian, or Jewish, is the anger/fear/judgment/lack of peace within. As we understand these things, our understanding may guide our response.

World Healing

Thus, the understanding, spiritually perceptive part of us may see that underlying issue -- the need to heal our own stuff. (And perhaps not to run out and "rescue the world" but to start on ourselves.) So, is this one of the issues that these events are highlighting? Are we starting to see more clearly what is needed for world healing? Could it be that world healing (both geophysical and attitudinal) starts on the personal level? Can there be a greater purpose to what transpired other than general mayhem? Can we pray for those affected and the situation and visualize healing (in more than one sense of the word)? However we choose to respond is our choice and in Divine order.

Nostradamus

On Tuesday, I thought I remembered that Nostradamus had alluded to something taking place in New York. If you're not terribly familiar with him, please note that Nostradamus lived in the 16th Century in France, was a physician and astrologer, was born Jewish but brought up Catholic after his family converted, and is considered to be one of the best-known prophets or seers over the centuries. Many, many years ago (a good 15-25+ years) I read his quatrains in the original French (I was a French major and used to be fluent). His prophecies were written in quatrains (4-line verses), 100 quatrains to a group (called a "century"), with a total of 10 centuries (10 centuries of 100 quatrains each)

Many people quote Nostradamus. Having read his prophecies in the original French, I can say the he's often misquoted and misinterpreted. First of all, he wrote in Middle French, not modern French. The first important step in understanding his work is a correct translation. Secondly, he cloaked what he wrote in symbols, so if you translate correctly what he wrote, you then have to interpret the symbols. Nostradamus' prophecies are highly dependent upon proper translation and then interpretation of the symbols.

Nostradamus also made the reader work to understand his prophecies by splitting up quatrains on the same subject and putting them in different centuries. He may have exerted these efforts to cloak and obscure his messages partly because of the Inquisition. Having said that, I have three quatrains that I feel pertain to New York (that Nostradamus referred to as "cité neufue," "new city"). I'll include them here in English translation:

I - 87

Earthshaken fire from the center of the earth

Will make things tremble around the tower of the new city

Two big rocks will make war for a long time

Then Arethusa will redden a new river.

("Arethusa" is a Greek nymph from mythology who changed into a stream. There may be another arcane meaning to this word. The second line may also be translated as "will make things tremble around the new city." The "two big rocks" may be nations warring. However, please note that this quatrain is not saying warring against each other. They may be joined in their efforts. This one has been widely misquoted, especially in the past few days. No mention of steel birds or two brothers.)

VI - 97

At 45 degrees the sky will burn,

Fire to approach from the new city,

Instantly a large scattered flame will jump

When one will want the Normans to make proof.

(This one has been widely misquoted and misinterpreted as well. NYC is at 45 degrees and "new city" is mentioned again. Please note that the fire is "to approach from the new city," not approach the new city. What I find very significant about this quatrain is the last line. "Normans" is usually interpreted as the French. Given the French colonization and subsequent and contemporary involvement in Arabic countries, do they have intelligence or proof to share? France has continued to have involvement in Arabic countries and has not always supported U. S. efforts in the Middle East. Perhaps they have information to bear on this event.)

Indeed, just five days after the terrorism we saw two icons of American religious negativity, Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, speak out divisively in an attempt to

further poison people's minds and spread the mankind-phobic madness. They were clearly showing us that the seeds of madness, ethnocentricity, and hatred are in all of us and are definitely homegrown in America as well.

Clearly, terrorism cannot be countenanced and the fragility of the world cannot afford acts of terrorism and destruction. It is clear to me that we have a choice in how we respond to this week's events. We can be agents of positive change or contribute to the polarizing negativity. However, just pointing the finger at other cultures, ethnicities, religions, or differences from how we are will only exacerbate the difficulty. Perhaps it is a time to transcend our narrowly held views of ourselves and others and embrace our commonality.

I would like to move from seeing myself as solely an American to seeing myself as a member of the world community. I'd like to pledge allegiance to the World.

I'd like to pledge allegiance to a flag that transcends national borders, national identity, religious affiliation, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.

I'd like to pledge allegiance to the greater totality of which I am but a small, yet hopefully contributing, part.

I'd like to pledge allegiance to a loving, benign, accepting, and safe world.

May we all live to the day when we may embrace the greater Whole of which we are all but a small part and be able to see the face of the Divine in everybody else's face, no matter what their nationality, religion, culture, or color.

Blasfemia o terrorismo intelectual

All the Abrahamic religions if Judaism, Christianity and Islam especially condemns blasphemy where the person being accused of blasphemy (if their literature or image) will be sentenced to death. In the third book of the Torah, Levitical 24:16, mentions that "those who speak blasphemy shall be surely put to death." In addition, the seven laws of Noah, Jews accept as relevant to each religion, prohibits the blasphemy. In addition, Christian Theology strongly denounces the blasphemy.

Blasphemy in this sense is an insult and a disrespectful attitude toward God, Holy Spirit, and their prophets. In short, is the mockery of religious beliefs, customs and artifacts. What can you say more about blasphemy? Jesus and Moses are themselves are not free of it. Jokes about Jesus and Moses, that are so common in Western society, also come for blasphemy. Da Vinci Code, again a shameful indictment on Jesus not has never been taken seriously by West how Islam will get their due respect.

Pre Islamic tribes as Thamud (Qom-e-Samood in Arabic) during the time of the Prophet Saleh, the Pharaoh during the time of Prophet Moses and various tribes as Aad, and tribe of Prophet Lut are the greatest examples of punishment by God Almighty as its ruins show how took to task and sentenced to the disaster of shame to his prophets and not following the correct path.

In recent times we have seen many frequent blasphemic activities under the name of ' free media "and"freedom of expression"in the West where the Scandinavian bloc has played an active in the extinction of the religious beliefs of the Muslim world and broke-up his emotions on the subject." In addition, people like Salman Rushdi, who is famous for his Satanic Verses did before and many came later. The recent controversy over 'Draw Muhammad day' on Facebook has surpassed all limits and the new version of terrorism that easily can be named as "Intellectual terrorism" - the most dangerous form of terrorism. It has emerged in full swing because it represents real hatred between Islam and the rest of the world. The day is not the time "Intellectual terrorism" will bring Moslems and Christians in face where the Jews will act as arbitrator.

A village handful that is playing with the emotions of the world all Muslim and slamming their religious beliefs have given a new and effective way as provoking Muslims by jihadists feelings. This whole programme is formulated in such a way that a common Muslim can believe easily, due to feelings of jihadis, Muslims are terrorists and want to kill by any means. Although it is not a representation of a common not a Muslim who is happy with his life and live peacefully in his country, however; a strong Jewish lobby, which never wants peace in the world and always try to cause these issues that can create religious unrest in the world.

The fight against terrorism in the Philippines - four decades of the nightmare of the three-headed monsters

The Philippines is the only country in the world which is the fight against terrorism on three different fronts - communism, secessionism and Islam--all at the same time. Belonging to these fronts terrorist threat have different aspirations and have varied ideological convictions, but espousing similar violent methods to achieve its ultimate cause.

Communist groups that you want to change the social and political fabric of the Philippines of capitalism to communism through protracted armed revolution. On the other hand, the secessionist groups want to secede from the Manila Government and establish an independent State on Mindanao. The third front - Islamic groups - is a mixture of local and transnational terrorists dedicated to create a Pan-Islamic State in Southeast Asia.

Belonging to the Communist front terrorist groups are the Communist Party of the army of the peoples of the Philippines and new (CPP/NPA) and its hit squads urban, the Sparrow (its) units and the original Alex Boncayao Brigade (ABB) - now known as the national partisan Squadron (NPS). Added to these groups of communist terror are the Rebolusyonaryong Hukbong Bayan of the Marxist-Leninist party of the Philippines and the revolutionary proletarian Boncayao Brigade of the Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Mangagawa ejército-Alex ng Pilipinas. The CPP/NPA and ABB are listed in the list of foreign terrorists (FTO) of the United States Government Organization.

The its and ABB gained notoriety through assassinations of military and police personnel, including civilians who tagged as reactionary and fascist. One of his infamous murders was the murder of Colonel Nick Rowe of the joint US military Advisory Group (JUSMAG) in December 1989, while the American was on his way to the JUSMAG headquarters in Quezon City.

Secessionist groups are composed by the Moro Liberation Front Misuari Breakaway national group (MNLF-MBG) and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF). These groups do not see eye to eye, each has their own bets in their struggle against the Government in Manila. During the heyday of skirmishes with the armed forces of the Philippines in the 1970s, these groups gained the support of the powerful organization of Islamic countries in particular of Libya.

The members of the MNLF-MBG and MILF hard core participating in political assassinations and Christians, fires, kidnappings and bombing public places.

On the other hand, the Islamic Front is composed of the local Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG), group of terror based on Indonesian Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) and the network of Al Qaeda (AQ). These groups of three terror that work hand in hand are in the FTO list as well.

The spate of attacks and kidnapping activities perpetrated by ASG in recent years deteriorates the situation of peace and order in Mindanao and Metro Manila. Until now, the worst act of terror carried out by ASG was the firebombing of a ferry passengers at Manila Bay in February 2003 that killed more than 100 people. The so-called "Valentine's day" attacks in 2005 in General Santos City, Davao City, and Makati City may not be as deadly as the Super Ferry attack; However, the way in which were made by ASG denotes a grim signature of the operations of Al - Qaida style attacks in Madrid on 11 March 2004 and the London bombings on July 7, 2005.

The JI and AQ actively spread terror in the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia - this author called the "triangle of Terror" due to its geographical location. In this regard, the Philippine Government needs the cooperation of its neighbours in the South to contain widespread AQ network activities and the JI members in the country.

JI has a direct connection with the MILF and ASG through links operational, financial and training. A member of JI captured Indonesian called Rohmat @ Zaki revealed that JI channeled P100, 000 to ASG leaders, who in turn channeled money leader MILF Abu Basit to finance activities of bombings in Mindanao is carried out by JI, Assistant Secretary-General and MILF members sometime in March 2005.

Destabilization plan did not materialize under the plans, but the revelation by the JI leader strongly revealed the close association with the ASG and the MILF JI terror group. The operational links between JI and ASG rise the war on terror in the Philippines to the next level. Philippine Government officials believed that the JI activities in the country has complete blessings of the operational command of AQ.

The Philippine Government also needed to ensure the cooperation of the United States and the Australia Government that have economic and security interests in the Asia-Pacific region. The Americans, this is a breakthrough containment of terrorists in the country in the third world to avoid a repeat of another project Bojinka; the Australians, this will prevent the spread of terrorism in the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia to Oceania.

The influx of foreign terrorists in Mindanao and its association with local terror groups constitutes a serious threat to the national security that needs immediate and clear response from the Government.

It is important to note that the Government of the Philippines has been fighting terrorism for approximately four decades, still has not won total control of the security situation in the country. Taking into account the experience gained in the long years of struggle against terrorism, the police and military forces must have decimated the above-mentioned terrorist organizations and could have succeeded in establishing peace and order in the country. However, the current status of internal security in the entire archipelago dictates otherwise.

The regular units of the CPP/NPA along with squadrons of success in urban and rural areas remain forces to count with in Luzon and Visayas and Mindanao - the three main islands in the Philippines. The MILF, MNLF-MBG and ASG are actively participate, police and military forces in Mindanao. Muslim ties operational of the JI terror group and the AQ network with their counterparts premises are growing stronger as the days pass, and along with the ASG, are able to carry out terror activities in Metro Manila.

The probability to neutralize or minimize terrorism in Philippines is great depending on the political will of the incumbent Administration to make this happen. A warm approach will only strengthen the Communists, cause secessionists and the Islamists to boost its policy and religious.

The Philippine Government cannot stop terrorism solely by an independent police or military action. The accompaniment of an efficient and effective anti-terrorist program supported by political will, legislative solutions and legal proceedings, which are the best components to win the war on terror is necessary.

How the foreign policy of United States is doing the us less secure in the war against terrorism?

"And we fight today because terrorists want to attack our country and kill our citizens, and Iraq is where they are making their stand. So we'll fight them there, we'll fight them across the world, and we will stay in the fight until the fight is won." (Applause.) -- President George W. Bush

Despite plenty of muscular rhetoric, President Bush's strategy in the War on Terrorism demonstrates a dangerous ignorance of the unique military, tactical, and political aspects of the terrorist threat, and breeds a dangerous and chaotic foreign policy which has only served to put our nation in greater danger.

Back in the 6th century BC, in his classic, The Art of War, Sun Tsu observed, "Know your enemy, and in a thousand battles you will not be defeated." Sadly, our current Commander-in-Chief ignores the Chinese grand master's lesson, and actively eschews the acquisition of useful knowledge about our terrorist enemy. After the 9/11 Commission found that the CIA and FBI could have prevented the attacks of September 11th, had they only more effectively shared and communicated their intelligence to the White House, the Bush Administration could have ensured a dynamic and efficient system of American intelligence simply by reforming and/or streamlining the two agencies. Instead, the Administration did nothing to improve either agency, instead creating an entirely new government agency, the Department of Homeland Security, whose most obvious contribution to homeland security to date is a puerile, and now universally-ignored, color-coded Alert Level system.

Not surprisingly, the enhanced state of perpetual ignorance within America's intelligence community quickly took its toll, proceeding to deliver terribly flawed pre-war intelligence to the White House, which then spawned an utterly disastrous occupation of Iraq. All of this, of course, was in addition to our continued inability to capture, or even locate, America's Public Enemy 1, Osama bin Laden. Sun Tsu is rolling in his grave.

The atrocious ignorance continues with the Administration's inability to grasp the fundamental distinction between fighting terrorists and fighting enemy nation-states. In the wars of yesteryear, an enemy nation had a standing army, a native population, static boundaries, and permanent institutions, all of which helped to create an enemy who could be effectively destroyed with a sustained military campaign. But the problem with terrorists, unlike nationals of a belligerent foreign nation, is that they are not a permanent, distinct class. Terrorists are recruited, shaped, molded and trained by underground organizations, usually working without state sanction, and thus there is no fixed stock of "enemy combatants" capable of comprehensive military liquidation. As William F. Buckley, Jr. brilliantly observed, "Individual terrorists were, only yesterday, engaged in ordinary occupations, shocking friends and family when they struck as terrorists." Victory, then, will be achieved not with a specific death toll or geographic occupation, but by ensuring that Islamofascism remains a detested minority in every country in which it hopes to gain support. Victory is depriving the Islamofascists the ideological fuel with which they recruit the ordinary citizens to join the ranks of the jihad.

Terrorism itself is only a tactic of violence; it finds its roots in an ideology and thus cannot be defeated by military might alone. The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelan, founded in 1975 in Sri Lanka as the first terrorist organization to make widespread use of suicide bombing, are amazingly still blowing themselves up as part of their independence movement there (talk about dedication!), simply because they are still not independent from Sri Lanka, and thus can still recruit their martyrs with an effective narrative of foreign oppression and victimization. The near-infinite willingness of a people to willingly slaughter themselves in an ideological protest against foreign occupation has been confirmed over and over, from the Algerian resistance to French occupation, to America's own experience in Vietnam.

Unfortunately, most of the fuel for the global jihad is supplied by current American foreign policy in the Middle East. It is true, as some allege, that Islamists hate nearly every feature of Western society, from our politics to our culture, and as a result, it is easy to say that Islamic terrorism against America is a fait accompli stemming from a fanatical worldview that hates everything we stand for. But while Islamists indeed harbor grand visions of world empire under Allah, their delusions of global theocracy have been swirling around the Middle East ever since Muhammad began claiming his divinity; only recently did Islamic terrorism emerge as a dangerous threat to America. As late as the 1950s, Arab nations still sought out American mediation in their international disputes, respecting our independence and fairness, despite presumably still harboring atavistic religious hatred toward Our American Freedoms. Seven decades later, Uncle Sam is reviled like no one else in the world.

Libertarians, like Ron Paul, rightly point out that the difference between the good ol' days of respect for America and the current days of Death to America is a U.S. foreign policy of interference in the Middle East. Rudy Giuliani and his supporters would like to believe otherwise. But nothing is more devastating in the obliteration of Rudy G's arguments than the facts.

Back in 1998, Cato Institute scholar Ivan Eland had already been looking at the facts, and as a result, he had already begun to note the growing trend of America's terrorist threat, corresponding directly and invariably with American intervention into the Middle East. Unlike both Bush and Clinton, Eland was already keenly aware of al-Qaida, Hezbollah, and their growing threat to American interests. (If only Donald Rumsfeld and Dick Cheney read the Cato Institute.) Here are some partial excerpts of his prescient work, from his 1998 paper Does U.S. Intervention Overseas Breed Terrorism? The Historical Record:

July 2, 1915: The Senate reception room in the U.S. Capitol was damaged by a homemade bomb built by Erich Muenter, a former Harvard professor who was upset by sales of U.S. munitions to the Allies in World War I.

June 5, 1968: Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, former attorney general and senior policy adviser to President John F. Kennedy, was assassinated by Sirhan Sirhan, who had grown up on the West Bank and regarded Kennedy as a collaborator with Israel.

March 1971: A bomb exploded in a U.S. Senate restroom, causing extensive damage. The bombing came at a time of rising opposition to U.S. policies in Vietnam.

November 4, 1979: Supporters of the Ayatollah Khomeini seized the U.S. embassy in Tehran, Iran, capturing hostages that were not freed until January 1981. The embassy was captured as a protest against long-time U.S. support for the unpopular shah of Iran.

July 22, 1980: Ali Akbar Tabatabai, a former press counselor at the Iranian embassy in the United States during the shah's reign, was assassinated by the Islamic Guerrillas of America (IGA) after he had supplied U.S. officials with a manifesto of the IGA that advocated strategically planned terrorism on U.S. soil and assassinations of U.S. officials, stating, Any American can be targeted... no American is innocent... as long as U.S. foreign policies are to the detriment of the Islamic community.

April 8 and October 23, 1983: Islamic militants, funded by Iran and supported by Syria, suicide bombed the U.S. embassy and U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, killing 290 people and wounding 200 more. The attack remains the deadliest post-World War II attack on Americans overseas. The Americans were supporting the Christian government in Lebanon against the Muslim militias by training and arming the Lebanese National Army. The U.S. Marines were later withdrawn from Beirut, prompting a Hezbollah spokesman to brag that the $martyrs! had finally forced the Marines out of Lebanon.

April 5, 1986: Libyan leader Moammar Qaddafi sponsored the bombing of the La Belle nightclub in West Berlin, which was frequented by U.S. servicemen. The United States retaliated for the La Belle bombing with air strikes against Tripoli and Benghazi, Libya. In retaliation for the U.S. air strikes on Libya, an American hostage in Lebanon was sold to Libya and executed; Libyans attempted to blow up the U.S. embassy in Lomé, Togo; a Libyan agent, Abu Nidal, hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 in Karachi, Pakistan, killing several Americans; The Japanese Red Army, under contract from Abu Nidal, planted a bomb at the USO military club in Naples, Italy, on the two-year anniversary of the air strikes, killing five; and two Libyan agents bombed Pan Am Flight 103, killing 270 people, 200 of whom were Americans.

March 10, 1989: A pipe bomb exploded beneath a van owned by the commander of the U.S.S. Vincennes, who had shot down an Iranian airliner over the Persian Gulf (killing 290 civilians) during U.S. participation in the $tanker war! against Iran. March 12, 1991: During the Gulf War, a U.S. Air Force sergeant was blown up by a remotecontrolled bomb placed at the entrance of his residence in Athens, Greece. $November 17!, the deadliest terrorist group in Greece, November 17, which attacks U.S. targets because of American imperialism-nationalism!, claimed responsibility for the attack.

February 26, 1993: A group of Islamic terrorists detonated a massive van bomb in the garage of the World Trade Center in New York City. The Egyptian perpetrators were trying to kill 250,000 people by collapsing the towers. Ramzi Yousef, the leader of the terrorists, said the intent was to inflict Hiroshima-like casualties to punish the United States for its foreign policy toward the Middle East. The perpetrators considered augmenting the explosion with radiological or chemical agents that would have increased the casualties.

April 15, 1993: Seventeen Iraqis were arrested as part of government plot to assassinate former president George Bush on a visit to Kuwait, in retaliation for the Gulf War against Iraq.

June 1993: Sheik Omar Abdul Rahman--a militant Egyptian cleric--and other radical Muslims conspired to destroy several New York landmarks on the same day. Funding for the operation apparently came from Iran and was funneled through Sudan, attempting to punish the United States for its policies toward the Middle East.

October 3, 1993: Osama bin Laden's operatives trained Somali tribesmen who conducted ambushes of U.S. peacekeeping forces in Somalia in support of clan leader Mohamed Farah Aideed, causing the death of 18 American Army Rangers, and the dragging of dead American soldiers through the streets of Mogadishu. An indictment of his followers alleged the United States--an $infidel nation!--had a nefarious plot to occupy Islamic countries, as demonstrated by its involvement in the peacekeeping operation in Somalia and the Persian Gulf War. The incident led to the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Somalia, which bin Laden called his group's greatest triumph.

November 13, 1995: A car bombing of a military complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia--which housed a U.S. military advisory group--killed 7 people (including 5 Americans) and wounded 42 others. Muslim militants seeking to topple the Saudi monarchy and push the infidel United States out of Saudi Arabia carried out the bombings. Three groups, including the Islamic Movement for Change, claimed responsibility. U.S. officials suspect that Osama bin Laden was involved....

We can fill in the rest. Years later, 9/11 ushered in the modern War on Terrorism, and Mr. Bush, with characteristic ignorance of the documented connection between American aggression in the Middle East and Islamic terrorism against America, only further augmented interventionist U.S. foreign policy. That the Bush Doctrine's geopolitical social engineering, especially in Iraq, has been such an unqualified failure is not a surprise to anyone who has read this article thus far.

Another obvious problem with the Bush Doctrine and its exportation of Democracy is that nearly every Arab Muslim lives in a Non- Democracy, and thus America's grand experiment looks, from the perspective of the common man, to simply be imperialist meddling with his local government. The Bush Doctrine, even if it somehow succeeded (i.e. when the "fight is won," perhaps), would only guarantee a Pyrrhic victory at best. With every terrorist mastermind captured in Iraq, dozens of martyrs sign up to avenge his death and battle the American Empire. Iraq itself wasn't even a haven for al-Qaida operatives until after America invaded it. While bin Laden, confirmed murderer of American civilians, roams the globe free, Mr. Bush is pleased that we've killed terrorist al- Zarqawi, whose horrific and disgusting attacks were all against America's presence in Iraq, never threatening continental America itself. The Bush Administration, it seems, is really only successful at capturing terrorists of its own creation. Sadly, U.S. interventionism Iraq itself wasn't even a haven for al-Qaida operatives until after America invaded it. The Bush Administration, it seems, is really only successful at capturing terrorists of its own creation.

Sadly, U.S. interventionism (Operation Terrorist Creation) is not limited to the occupation of Iraq. The CIA and NSA continue to interfere in the political affairs of various nations the world over, funding, training and assisting various anti-Islamic movements and governments, from the Caspian Sea to the Horn of Africa.

While such action may excite the intellectual tribalists in the neoconservative movement, the problem with such meddling is that the CIA-backed alternatives to Islamism, just like the CIAbacked alternatives to Communism, tend to usually be brutal nationalist dictators or military juntas, and are just as bad, or worse, than Islamism for the people we are supposedly "liberating." As a result, our intervention only enhances political oppression, civil unrest and poverty, which, studies show, then only serves as a breeding ground for Islamic extremism. The whole nasty process only further convinces the Islamic diaspora that America is waging a war on Islam. This is not how to win the hearts and minds of the world's people.

Our current policy, in its blind aggression and geopolitical ignorance, purports to fight terrorists "where they are making their stand," but it only serves to make them more effective and numerous. Thanks to the Bush Doctrine, radical clerics, government bankrollers, and their potential recruits can now all observe a visible military and political occupation to justify their ongoing resistance against the Great Satan. In these backward societies deprived of freedom of information and thought, radical Islamofascist rhetoric, combined with clear evidence of American global occupation, is sadly enough for terrorists to gain alarming popular traction, financial support, and willing martyrs. This mobilization of terrorists, potentially creating hundreds of thousands of jihadists, if America's belligerent foreign policy continues apace, is becoming the greatest threat the United States of America faces.

In intelligent recognition of this reality, America should immediately repudiate the Bush Doctrine and pursue a policy of intelligent disengagement. First, those terrorists and organizations which have committed or planned acts of aggression against the United States, such as al-Qaida, should be pursued with vigor; this is our most important mission and should be treated as such. Second, America must cease all nation-building, internal interference, and general military interventionism in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, in order to deprive terrorists of their fuel for jihad. Regimes, organizations and groups who do not threaten direct harm to the United States should not be the target of any U.S. military campaign. As we've repeatedly argued, the occupation of Iraq should immediately end.

As Americans, we all desire to win the war and to enjoy permanent security. But like Vietnam, Quebec, and Somalia, not all battles our government chooses to fight are winning ones; and like My Lai, Manzanar, and the Bay of Pigs, not all tactics our military prefers are desirable. An extension of that nugget of common sense dictates that as long as U.S. foreign policy glorifies the imperialist fallacies of neoconservatism, we libertarians will continue to rightly inveigh against it.

The Bush Administration's blind allegiance to aggression over knowledge perverts not only the lessons of Sun Tsu, but also the American Founders' original vision of a nation seeking only peaceful trading ties, the avoidance of entangling political alliances, and a national defense to respond powerfully only when directly provoked. The authentic patriot believes in these true American principles of intelligent self-defense, and knows that they alone can safely guide our nation through these troubled and dangerous times.
