The West has evil on Iran

Prelude: Ukraine; Late November 2004, run-off Presidential election between Victor Yanukovych, the then Prime Minister, who secured 39.32% votes in first round, and Victor Yushchenko, the opposition candidate who got 39.87% of the votes. The third and fourth candidate received just around 5%. Orange was embraced as the signifying color by the Yushchenko's camp. After the second round of voting, Yanukovych was leading with 49.2% votes with Yushchenko at 46.69%. Yushchenko called for civil disobedience and a massive protest was held at Independence Square (Azadi Square, anyone?). According to Times Magazine Yushchenko asked his supporters not to leave the Square till they achieve victory. The elections were all about whether the Ukraine would pursue closer ties with West or stick closer to Russia. The Guardian reported on November 24th 2004: "The Democratic party's National Democratic Institute, the Republican party's International Republican Institute, the US state department, and USAid are the main agencies involved in these grassroots campaigns, as are the Freedom House NGO and billionaire George Soros's open society institute". The same daily observed about a year later on Oct 14, 2005: "The winning coalition that orchestrated last winter's street protests collapsed in disarray last month. Leading members accused each other of corruption... Far from being motivated by a genuine wish to promote democracy, many leading Yushchenko-backers only wanted to grab a greater share of the post-Soviet pie". That was the sad ending of a US orchestrated and much cheered Orange Revolution. Similar revolutions were fomented elsewhere in the region including Pink Revolution (Kyrgystan) and Rose Revolution (Georgia). The same American billionaire, George Soros, spent $42 million to overthrow Shevardnadze in the later one.

It was February 2006, when Dr. Condoleezza Rice requested Congress to increase the funds to promote "Democracy" and for "Change in regime behavior" in Iran. Rice requested $75 million for the purpose. One of the figures who helped launch this program was Elizabeth Cheney, the daughter of Dick Cheney and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs. The state department officials at that time talked of a desire to stir up internal forces for massive political change, as done in Ukraine and Georgia. But they refused to disclose the specific details to protect the identity of Iranian individuals and organizations that had received funding. Shirin Ebadi, the Iranian Nobel Laureate for Peace, wrote in an article published in International Herald Tribune on May 30, 2007:

The secret dimension of the distribution of the $75 million has also created immense problems for Iranian reformists, democratic groups and human rights activists. Aware of their own deep unpopularity, the hard-liners in Iran are terrified by the prospects of a 'velvet revolution' and have become obsessed with preventing contacts between Iranian scholars, artists, journalists and political activists and their American counterparts.

To gauge the depth of these clandestine operations, I refer to a report that appeared on Asia Times Online back in Mar 14, 2006, titled as "Inside the US's regime-change school". The report detailed on how an Iranian lady named Nilofar, working for an International organization in Tehran suddenly got an invitation to attend Human Rights workshop in Dubai. When she went over there she came to know that the conference was falsely advertised in the lobby of the hotel as the conference by the "Griffin Hospital". The participants were identifying themselves only through aliases. The course organizers were LA based exiled Iranians and Americans plus three Serbs belonging to the Otpor movement that overthrew the President Slobodan Milosevic in 2000. The workshop stressed the importance of ridiculing the political elite so as to demystify the aura of sacredness surrounding them and employing different methods to bring down the government. That crash course for changing a regime was held several months before the Bush administration requested the extra funding to accelerate the purpose. So for all practical purposes they had a lead time of three full years for breeding and training the required herd of color revolutionists.

Then came the 10th Iranian Presidential Election. The main contestants were Mahmood Ahmadinejad and Mir Hossein Mousavi. During the last run-off presidential elections Ahmadinejad defeated Hashemi Rafsanjani by getting 17.28 million votes as compared to just above 10 million of the opponent with 48% turnout, given it was the second round. Many were perplexed by the defeat of a person of such a stature as Rafsanjani was. But the general perception of wealth mingled with corruption and his luxurious and lavish lifestyle as compared to austere of Ahmadinejad with full backing of religious clerics and his reputation as a hard working mayor of Tehran made the setback simple enough. There were rumors circulating widely involving his family members in corruption, kickbacks, and embezzlement. During the live broadcast of the presidential debate on 3rd June, Ahmadinejad hit the nerve directly by exposing Rafsanjani's role behind the Mousavi campaign. Though it was already known among the political and media circles that it was Hashemi who was the main backer of Mir Housein Mousavi (as evident from the article of 18 June by David Blair in "Telegraph"), but it struck the masses like a revelation. Rafsanjani had become a kind of bête noire for the majority of the Iranian public since the last election. Those accusations worked as a catalyst for the massive turnout in the election. The only independent opinion poll conducted by "Terror Free Tomorrow: The Center for Public Opinion" and "New America Foundation" gave Ahmadinejad a lead of 2 to 1.

If you compare the election results with the poll results you will find out that they are just mirror images of each other though polls predicted a bit more votes for Ahmadinejad.

Here the points raised in Joshua Muravchik article in New York Post on demand some scrutiny as he called the referred poll as "Junk Poll". The article opened up with these comments:

No sooner had the first truncheon fallen on the head of an Iranian protester demanding that votes be fairly counted than two researchers from American advocacy groups rushed into print to vouch for the legitimacy of the official outcome of Iran's presidential election.

This implies that the report came in aftermath of protests which is not the case. The report appeared on the websites of different news channels much before the election. Like the VOA reported the results of this survey on 8th June in an article of Meredith Buel.

I will come to the technical points later but to reveal the credibility of his analysis will start from the end of the article where he claimed that "Oh, and the alleged tally of 10 million paper ballots was announced just three hours after polls closed, a feat that could only have been managed one way -- by counting the votes before they were cast." There were a total of 45,713 ballot boxes set up all across Iran and total of 39.2 million votes being casted. If you divide those 10 million votes to 45 thousand ballot boxes you got an average of around 220 votes per box. Even if you take a minute to count a single vote, 3 hours are more than enough, in order of magnitude, to count those 10 million votes. And if there are more than 4 persons counting the votes the whole lot can be counted within the span of same time, leave the 10 million. By the way counting a single vote doesn't take more than 10-15 seconds. As far as communication of the result to regional offices are concerned we can safely presume that when all the opposition was tweeting and posting on Facebook, the election results were not being communicated through Pigeon-Post. Now building on the same argument I would like to quote what Time Magazine had reported on the same issue:

"Friday's announcement, which was based on a very small count, came just minutes after Mousavi declared himself to be "definitely the winner." According to a Mousavi official in Paris, the opposition leader was initially informed by the Interior Ministry that he had won."

If partial announcement of the counts was not possible, which I have proven is not the case, how come Mousavi announcement of his success is possible even before that and from the same Interior Ministry. Why nobody said that it was Mousavi who want to rig the results in his favor by such an early claim of victory quoting unknown officials. A double standard indeed! If count was not possible then it was not for all the candidates and not for Ahmadinejad only. I would like to add one more fact here. It's the same arch-conservative Interior ministry who declared Muhammad Khatami, a more popular and liberal, winner in the past, not once but twice. And Khatami didn't have the stigma of working as a Prime Minster under the more radical leadership of Imam Khomeini, what Mousavi had from the perspective from liberal camp. Here if we check the results of that 1997 and 2001 elections, we would found the Khatami won with even higher percentage of lead i.e. 70% and 78% respectively and at both time the turnout was over 80%.

It would be of interest if I quote here what Muhammad Khatami said after winning the second consecutive elections: "Every ballot in the box is a vote for an Islamic system of government here". Someone was saying that the larger turnout is for change but if the rhetoric is true why there was such a higher turnout in the second term of Khatami. No! Its about popularity as well. And it is almost same the case with the elections in 2005 when Ahmadinejad gave the surprise with winning the elections against a most powerful candidate, Hashemi Rafsanjani. Ahmadinejad got more than 17 million votes though voter turnout was just 48% compared to 85% this time. It make the lead in this term more realistic and sync with previous results. It is the reason that John Stremalu, Vice President for Peace Programs at the Carter Center, admitted that fast announcement is not necessarily proof of rigging. The guy has monitored 75 elections over the past two decades. And keep in mind that Iran does not have any history of rigged elections since revolution.

Mr. Muravchik further stated that:

"Mir Hussein Mousavi's campaign rallies were larger than Ahmadinejad's, although the latter had state resources. Voter turnout, all sides agree, was 35 percent higher than last time:"

Yes of course, if media and no other than BBC, show images of rally in support of Ahmadinejad and passes it off as Pro-Mousavi, such perceptions are not entirely incorrect. Other than that there is no evidence for such claims. Both sides came out with good rallies and there are no parameters available to judge which ones were bigger. If all sides agree that voter turnout was 35% higher, this proves that no fake voting was being done to increase the turn out. People actually voted for one candidate or other. Now I revert to his main argument:

It turns out that their callers reached 1,731 people. Fully 730 refused to speak to them. Of the remaining 1,001, half (501) either refused to say how they'd vote or said they didn't know or had no preference.

Now again the great scholar implies that the ratio of refusal to engage in that particular telephonic political survey is dramatically low and inferior. Not at all! On the other hand it's on the max side (Lisa Harrison- Political Research: An Introduction), i.e. a good 58% while in US the telephone response rate stands merely at '30%'. The second point is the issue of what we call Spiral of Silence. But before discussing the issue further I would like to point out a fact missed by Mr. Muravchik. In his article somewhere he referred to the Freedom House Rating on Iran which according to him is placed among the two dozen least free countries in the world (Again a false analysis though as Belarus, Burma, Chad, China, Cuba, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Laos, Libya, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Zimbabwe were even worst). The interesting part with this Freedom House rating is that in 2008 they showed Afghanistan, a country under occupation, and Kashmir, a area occupied by India, as partially free including Yemen, Somalia, Turkey, Jordan and Ethiopia fallen into same category while Iran and Pakistan were not free at all. Amazing, isn't it? Even this so called "Freedom House" declared in his rating that Iran scored the best in Freedom of Expression and Individual Rights. Now if we go back to the original argument of Mr. Muravchik where he jumbled up the ones who were not decided (27.4%) with ones who refused to answer (Just 15%) we will find out that even if we put all the 'refused to answer' votes in the basket of Mr. Mousavi, as they are the ones most expected to go for Mousavi (though Mousavi campaign was more vocal and daring as compared to Ahmadinejad and there was not even a single case reported on any sort of arrest of common Mousavi supporter before election) and the remaining undecided votes equally divided between two (to give them even chances) Ahmadinejad could have won simple majority. I admit that my putting all the "refused to answer" votes in favor of Mousavi is too generous and not appropriate as per statistical calculations but it is just to show the weakness and hollowness of others argument, I went that far. When confronted with the fact if these were the voters who were afraid of the consequences of expressing their true opinion (Mr. Muravchik read it Mousavi supporter) why they expressed heterodox views on other questions, the Scholar reply was that "many dictatorships allow some diversity of expression regarding abstract issues".

Abstract issues? Is he telling us that the question "I am going to read you a list of three options for governing Iran. Please tell me whether you support or oppose a political system where the "Supreme Leader", along with all leaders, can be chosen and replaced by a free and direct vote of the people" is just an abstract one and the good 66% support in reply is not a daring one then I would like to ask what else is the core issue of democracy in Iran. He may reply "Mousavi" and I have to accept his right of self expression. I don't think much left about his article but still want to explain few more things. First of all the elections results in 2009 elections were not just mirror image of TFT polls but also reflect the result pattern of 2005 election results when Ahmadinejad garnered 61% votes. The higher voter turnout was not because of a desire of change but because of media frenzy and subsequent polarization of the society after the live televised debate between the two competitors. If the TFT polls were not statistically correct they wouldn't match with the demographic patterns of Iran as established by the census and other official data and last but not the least with the poll results.

The turnout was overwhelming on 12th June, a massive 85%. But the designs of color revolutionists were bit different. They were planning for a run-off and propagating vehemently that higher turnout will drag the elections into the second round. The second round was necessary for their dreams to become true. Their Green would fall into the footprints of Orange revolution of Ukraine. During an e-mail interview with Washington Post, on the Election Day, Mohamad Bazzi, adjunct Senior Fellow at Council on Foreign Relations had this to say:

Mousavi does have a chance to capture 50 percent of today's vote and to avoid a runoff, but that is unlikely. The more likely scenario is for a runoff between Mousavi and Ahmadinejad.

The propaganda was so vehement that when I talked to one insider before the election, he offered the same forecast: a run-off. Even the TFT report was predicting same without giving any analytical reason for that (keeping in mind that report predicted the same higher turnout). Considering the social and economic breakdown of the population and the effective exposé of Rafsanjani's role behind the Mousavi camp, I rather thought the success of Ahmadinejad was ensured. The western media either missed the strength and impact of the personal attack on Rafsanjani-Mousavi or ignored it deliberately. They focused on the important, if not all relevant facts that people were frustrated with the economic slowdown, high inflation, and unemployment rate. But then that's the case with every third world country where incumbency is a liability. From the perspective of ordinary Iranian, Iran has made enormous progress on scientific and foreign policy fronts. There might have been a chance for Mousavi had Rafsanjani's presence not been felt as strongly. Mousavi was claiming victory before the polls were even closed. (Precisely what western commentators then accused Ahmadinejad of, as a sure sign of rigged elections.)

There were no allegations of any sort of rigging that whole day-until the noise and crying-foul suddenly started pouring out when Interior ministry announced partial results,. For a day or two we were just hearing about voting irregularities, followed by reports on the color revolution on the streets of northern Tehran. That was a coup d'état by the elite and bourgeois with green flags in their hands. The green color has special symbolic value in Iran as it is the color reserved for the progeny of the last Holy Prophet. But that movement was doomed to failure. There is no example in history of any mass revolution by the upper class. The media tried to make an issue out of the murder of Neda Sultan, but there is no evidence available to incriminate Basij in the incident. Dr. Hejazi, the music teacher present on the spot, and eyewitnesses of the incident didn't see anyone killing her. Nobody else saw any Basij firing on her.

Still, the media trial judged it otherwise. Parallels to the murder of murder of investigative journalist Georgy Gongadze, which triggered the Orange revolution in Ukraine, are inevitable. The Revolutionary Guards (RG) was expecting such nefarious designs. Just a day before the election the political chief of RG, Yadollah Javani, warned that any attempts for a velvet revolution would be nipped in the bud. Despite that, the clerical establishment allowed the protests initially. Quickly these turned into arson and property destruction. The RG then clamped down on the violent protests which diverted the efforts of color revolutionists towards the "twitter revolution", spreading (mis-)information through cyberspace. One of these evidently untrue rumors thus spread was that the president of the Election Monitoring Committee declared the election result invalid. It was in fact Ali Akbar Mohtashami, a campaigner for Mousavi, who had done so. There were many twitters from Israel too, getting in on the propaganda against the Ahmadinejad regime.

There might have been irregularities at a few polling booths or, later, at some protest sites. But the media was projecting it as a mass revolution. That, it was not. The Friday sermon by the Imam Khamenei, on June 19th, exposed the foreign hands behind the protest. He asked a simple question. How can one rig more than 10 million votes in such a situation with huge presence of International media and with no such complaint from the competitor whole election-day? He urged the Iranian nation to grasp the real motivation behind the chaos and requested restraint from both sides. And it was tense but peaceful on the coming Sunday when in spite of the appeal made by Mousavi, no major demonstration took place in Tehran. But the real revelation surfaced when no other than Secretary of State Hillary Clinton confessed that US did a lot "behind the scenes" to show support for the demonstrators. Her words in fact reveal much more than they hide:

And we knew that if we stepped in too soon, too hard... the leadership would try to use us to unify the country against the protestors.

Rafsanjani, Mousavi, and Karoubi didn't show up at the sermon which is a vital indication of their future course of action. The pundits who were predicting-or rather wishing-that the Assembly of Experts, headed by Rafsanjani, would initiate any action against Imam Khamenei don't seem to be familiar with the concept of Imamate in the Shiite doctrine. Rafsanjani can not dare to challenge Supreme Leader so openly. Aside, this election was (and remains) more about Ahmadinejad vs. Rafsanjani then Khamenei vs. Rafsanjani. (Mousavi, in any case, is a puppet.) The advent of the Ahmadinejad phenomenon can be seen in the context of Islamic history as the Caliphate of Ali and the subsequent trouble from the same bourgeois class like Muawiah, Talha and Zubair. But at least for few coming years I do not foresee any major political turmoil in Iran. By siding with Mousavi, Hashemi lost any chances of becoming future Supreme Leader of Iran, if he had any.

Everything about Muslims

There are thousands of millions of people of different races, cultures and nationalities around the world, all joined by the Islamic faith. It may be approximately 18% of Muslims in the Arab world, but Indonesia has one of the largest communities, and also found in important areas of Asia. Muslims can be also found in most of Africa, while significant minorities can be found in China, the Soviet Union, Europe, North America and South America.

What are the beliefs of Muslims?
These people believe in one, Incomparable Dios; his angels; the prophets who brought revelations to the humanity of God; persons responsible for their actions and the day of judgment; life after death and the total power of God about the fate of human beings. Muslims also believe in a sequence of prophets beginning with Adam and then include Noah, Ismael, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Joseph, job, Aaron, Moses, David, Elijah, Solomon, Jonah, John the Baptist and Jesus. Without however the last message of God to humanity, a reconfirmation of the eternal message-, as well as a summary of everything that happened before they were revealed through Gabriel to the Prophet Muhammad.

What is meaning of Islam?
Islam is an Arabic word that means submission and is derived from a word meaning peace. From a religious perspective, this means complete submission to the will of God. The name of the Arab God is Allah, and this is used by Muslim Arabs as well as Christian believers.

To some people, Islam might seem extreme or unusual in modern society. This could be mainly because religion does not control the daily life throughout the West today, while Muslims always have religion in their minds and won't no division between sacred and secular. These people believe that the Sharis, which is the divine law, must be taken seriously and has by religion-related issues will continue to be very important.

How can an individual be a Muslim?
Declaring these words "there is no God apart from Dios, Muhammad is the Messenger of God." As a result of this statement, the believer will announce his belief in all the messengers of God, as well as the Scriptures that offer.

What is a Ka'ba?
This is a place of worship where God commanded Ishmael and Abraham to build more than 4 thousand years ago. This building had been built with stone in what seems most like the original location of a shrine that was created by Adam. Abraham was commanded by God to call all humans to go to this place and always pilgrims visit this place today would repeat the answer that Abraham made this call.

Holy Qur'an contains scientific truths about the universe

Muslims must not only recite the Holy Quran on a regular basis, they also deeply reflected in his verses, observed the rename. Scientific discoveries mentioned in the Holy Quran more than 1429 years ago and miraculous aspects of the Holy Book reflect its credibility and its uniqueness. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that the Sun and the Moon was shot in the final judgment.

It has recently shown that the Moon is receding from Earth 3-4 cm each year. This means that there will be no more gravity to keep the Moon orbiting the planet and the Sun will be fully swallow. It will then become a unit like a ball, and that means the end of the world.

Modern science has shown that all the stars have a life cycle. First they lose their brightness and then become completely dim. When all the stars die or become dim, it means the end of the world, who taught the Holy Prophet to these newly discovered, fascinating facts and scientific? He is one, God Almighty.

As well as this situation increasingly pain the scientist and trying to find other ways or well go to the Moon or in search of water on Mars where people can live there rest of life but its not easy to do that. One day this world will end and we will be all day face judgement.

Us not denial on the day of the judgment so be prepared to go through all this. This article was published in dubaiforvisitors.com a few days ago. As you know there is a month of Ramadan is going these days. So happy Ramadan to all over the world.

What Is So Special About Man If I Gives No Benefit To Others

What Is So Special About Man If He Gives No Benefit To Others

If we study, analyze and appraise the physical aspects of mankind, we will find there is absolutely nothing special about it. Instead there are two negative aspects about the physique of man.

First: Weakness

What we mean by weakness here is the weakness of the body. The body has no resistance or resilience. It is easily exposed to a lot of diseases. It is easily attacked by fever, headaches, toothaches and ailments of the eyes. This also includes diseases that are more serious like heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, stroke, heart attack and others.

Besides that, the resilience or resistance of the physical body itself is also very weak compared to the resilience of the soul. If it knocks against something, it is easily wounded or swollen and causes pain. If it falls or collides against a hard or a strong object, it is easily sprained, broken, crushed and smashed. If energy is used, the body gets easily tired and exhausted. If care is not taken, this too can lead to illness. In fact, even if the body experiences pleasure, it is also subjected to negative effects or to certain side effects. As an example, after consuming too much food, the body becomes heavy and this can lead to various illnesses. After having sexual relationship with the wife, especially when it is frequent, the body becomes exhausted, weak and listless. If the body sleeps too late at night, the eyes become sleepy in the day. Added to that, the body also feels tired.

That is how weak man is. His physical resilience is always being challenged. His physical resilience is always being tried. This outside challenge and encroachment has its side effects on the body. His soul is also pressured resulting in high emotions. He becomes easily angered, easily aggrieved, loathsome, sated and others.

If this negative spiritual characteristic is not controlled by Islamic teachings and by the struggle against lust or the nafs (mujahadah), it will hurt other people. This will give rise to crises and quarrels amongst the people in society. Unity, love and care and harmony will be destroyed.

Secondly: Excretion

Whatever is excreted from the body of man is dirty and disgusting. Let us study this fact.

Excretion of the body that is sweat or perspiration has a revolting smell and is disgusting to people.

Excretion of the ears either earwax or pus is foul smelling and nauseating.

Excretion of the nose that is mucus or snot is disgusting and nauseating and no one likes it, not even the person concerned.

Saliva, which is discharged through the mouth, is foul smelling especially that which is discharged during sleep. At times, it is also defiling (najis) from the Islamic viewpoint.

Tears, although not foul smelling, is still regarded with disgust and is very much disliked.

Urine and stool, excreted via the urinary tract and the anus are not only extremely foul smelling, dirty and revolting but also defiling (najis) from the Islamic viewpoint. They are the excretion of man, which are most loathsome. Their smell hurt peoples' noses. Cleansing the body of these excretions is obligatory. Otherwise, acts of devotion will not be accepted by Allah. They pollute and dirty the air, they threaten health and can disturb the peace.

What we have said are about disgusting things that come naturally and cannot be avoided by man. They are part of the body's natural functions.

We have not yet touched on things that are disgusting and loathsome and which at the same time degrade and cause difficulty to man like sores, diabetic gangrene, shingles, ulcerated sores, cancerous abscesses and boils that exudes pus which are smelly, dirty and revolting and which cause pain and weaken the body. With these diseases, man lose their worth and value. At times, because of these diseases, those whom we love like our wives and children can suddenly loathe us and abandon us.

If man do not have any good or any specialty in other areas other than the disgusting things that have been said before this, then what is so special about mankind? What then is the meaning of the lives of man or their existence in this world. Man will only face hardship and will cause difficulty to others. Man will have no worth and value. Such men are like garbage of society and in fact are much lower than garbage itself. Useless garbage can at least be swept and thrown away or collected or heaped and burnt. Its ashes can be used as fertilizer. But man, no matter how useless, cannot be thrown away or burnt. Such a man is truly a living corpse who does nothing else but disturbs and jeopardizes the lives of other people.

Because of this, through the blessings of Allah and His love for mankind, and because Allah wants to honor and upgrade the status of mankind who are His servants, He sent His Prophets and His Apostles whom He gave guidance and revelation. The last of the Prophets was Sayidina Muhammad SAW. To him, Allah gave the Quran as a guide and revelation so that mankind can become useful. Besides being His servants who are subservient to Him, man is also Allah's vicegerent to develop, advance and administer the world so that it becomes a safe and happy place for him. In the Hereafter, there are greater and more special rewards and that is paradise which is unlike and incomparable to anything we know and which Allah awards as His bounty to mankind. This is a blessing to men who has done good while on earth in accordance to the wishes of Allah.

Because of this, mankind should take the chance by following the guidance of Allah. Man should aggrandize Allah, love Him, fear Him, purify Him, be humble to Him, be shameful, be thankful, be hopeful to Him and man should rely on Him. Accept whatever He destines and be patient with trials and tribulations from Him by doing the act of prayers, fasting, the haj, reciting the Quran, contemplating in the remembrance of Him (zikr), purifying Him (tasbih), praising Him (tahmid), holifying Him (taqdis), struggle against our nafs or lust (mujahadah) and struggle in the way of Allah (jihad).

These are the ways mankind as created servants can relate to his Creator. Then, as His vicegerent, develop the earth, advance and administer it in accordance to the systems and rules from Allah, for this earth belongs to Him. We should not do as we like or in accordance to our whims and fancies so that the world is not damaged. And do service to mankind to instill love and care, unity cooperation, harmony, security, peace, and happiness together. All this can be done through power and authority, administration, knowledge, effort and energy, influence, money, wealth and others. Whatever we do, we should follow the guidance of Allah so that He will accept, bless and award us His mercy. At all times, fear Allah in whatever we do so that hopefully no negative effects will ensue that will destroy man himself.

Whosoever amongst mankind who can do all this is regarded as one who fears Allah (taqwa). He is honored and forgiven by Allah. Such a man, who do service to other men by all his good deeds has actually redeemed all his weaknesses and shortcomings that are part of his being. He has attained a high status in the eyes of Allah and mankind for although he is beset with weaknesses, he has succeeded to become a useful person. In the Hereafter, he qualifies for Allah's forgiveness and His paradise.

Meanwhile, if man is not nurtured by Islamic upbringing and education, he loses his fear of Allah, he forgets life in the Hereafter and through his physical body, he dares to commit all forms of transgressions whether openly or otherwise.

His hands are used for stealing, robbing, giving and taking bribes, hitting and killing people. His legs step towards places of evil and vices, like nightclubs, discos, prostitute dens, gambling houses and places where people revel and where there are free mixing of the sexes. His tongue is used to revile and slander, insult, libel, lie, swear, scold and to utter lewd words. His eyes are used to look at women who are not his kin and family, obscene pictures and to see the weaknesses of other people to be disseminated everywhere. His ears are used to eavesdrop on people's secrets so it can be made public. His brain is constantly used to think of how to commit evil and to plan the destruction of God's earth. After we have studied and analyzed humankind, we find that man's body or physique is nothing special. In fact, it produces nothing but filth. Because of this, man is forced to conceal his natural dirt by frequently cleaning his body with soap and shampoo, and to beautify it with powder, lipstick and perfumes. It is further decorated with expensive and beautiful clothing to attract people's attention so that people will approach and mix with them. Otherwise, people will run away because the smell of sweat and perspiration alone is enough to repel them.

In fact, forgive me for saying this, but to perform the innate physical relationship between husband and wife, if both parties do not beautify themselves and rub themselves with perfume and powder, the desire to conduct such relationship can wane or can die immediately. Domestic crisis may result.

Also, in order to attain health, so that the body is always active and energetic, man needs to exercise and jog frequently. Food and drinks must be taken care of and unhealthy places must be avoided. That is the truth of the nature of man and no one can escape or avoid it. If man realize this truth, that they cannot avoid the weaknesses and shortcomings that we have said, no matter who he is, whether he is a king or one who has power, knowledge and wealth, man will always be conscious of himself, always shameful, humble and modest. They will not be proud or snobbish, let alone to oppress or tyrannize other people.

Los versos sobre los descreídos en el Corán

"And We have placed coverings on their hearts and a heaviness in their ears lest they understand it, and when you mention your Lord alone in the Quran they turn their backs in aversion". Quran Al-Isra [17:46]

Our prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) used to become very sad when the people used to refute the verses of the Quran. For the strengthening of his heart, Allah almighty revealed the following verse,

"Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad peace be upon him) warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe". Quran Al-Baqara [2:6]

However, this verse does not imply that the Muslims should not spread the word of Allah Almighty. This is because we cannot be sure that who among the masses is the person who is going to accept the truth and who has the heart, mind, and soul with locks. This is explained in the following verse of the Holy Quran. Allah Almighty says in the Quran,

And that I should recite the Quran. Therefore whoever goes aright, he goes aright for his own soul, and whoever goes ' astray, then say: I am only one of the warners.Quran An-Naml [27:92]

So it is recommended for the Muslims to warn people. However, every Muslim should keep in mind that it is blatantly wrong according to Islam if they try to force someone to accept Islam.

The Quran also solaces the Muslims who have to face ridiculing or picking at by the non-Muslims if they try to spread the word of Allah. Allah almighty says in the Quran,

And when it is said to them (hypocrites): "Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad peace be upon him, Al-Ansâr and Al-Muhajirûn) have believed," they say: "Shall we believe as the fools have believed?" Verily, they are the fools, but they know not. Quran Al-Baqara [2:13]

The verse, mentioned above clearly implies that there is no reason for a Muslim to be disheartened if any non-Muslim picks at him.

Of course, the Quran is a divine guidance. This is the very reason why the Quran throws an open challenge to the people who do not believe in it. Allah almighty says in the Quran,

"And if you (Arab pagans, Jews, and Christians) are in doubt concerning that which We have sent down (i.e. the Qur'an) to Our slave (Muhammad peace be upon him), then produce a Surah (chapter) of the like thereof and call your witnesses (supporters and helpers) besides Allah, if you are truthful". Quran Al-Baqara [2:23]

The Arabs were great linguistics in the times when Quran was revealed. In fact, they took deep pride in it. However, no nonbeliever among them was able to produce anything even near to the linguistic quality or content of the Quran.

What You Don't Know About The National Monument

The Cenotaph

Tugu Negara literally means National Monument. The cenotaph at Kuala Lumpur is know as Tugu Negara, and is the original national monument, and later the one with the human figures right behind was made.

A cenotaph is a tomb or a monument that is erected in memory of a person or a group of person whose remains are elsewhere. This cenotaph was erected in honour of the fallen heroes of World War One (1914 to 1918), World War Two (1939 to 1945) and the Malayan Emergency (1948 to 1960). One can see the dates clearly on the cenotaph.

During the Second World War, Japan invaded Malaya, the old name for Malaysia. The Japanese began the Pacific War with the invasion of Kota Bahru on the eastern side of the peninsular about 90 minutes before the attack on Pearl Harbour in Hawaii. Then, they invaded the island of Borneo, completely capturing Sabah and Sarawak. Later, Singapore, which was then part of Malaya, fell. In less than two months, the entire country was in Japanese hands, where an estimated 100,000 people were killed. During the occupation, guerrilla forces such as force 136 and the Malayan People's Anti-Japanese Army fought the Japanese from the jungles. The Chinese were singled out for brutal treatment due to the long enmity between the Japanese and the Chinese.

After the Second World War ended, another war began from 1948 to 1960 commonly known as the Malayan Emergency. The war was fought between the Commonwealth armed forces and the Malayan National Liberation army, which is the militant arm of the Malayan Communist Party. The Communist party fought against the colonial British and called it the Anti British National Liberation War. The communists were defeated in 1960.

At The Dome

Near the Tugu Negara is a huge dome. Domes are an important feature in Islamic architecture, and on top of the dome, one will find the Islamic symbol of the star and crescent.

All around the construction below the dome are the coats of arms of the states in Malaysia.

First look for the coat of arms of Malaysia, which is situated directly facing the cenotaph. There are two of them actually; one on each door. The national emblem and coat of arms of Malaysia, or Jata Negara in Malay, comprises a shield, two tigers, a crescent and a fourteen point star which form the crest, and a motto.

The Malaysian emblem is modelled after the European heraldic practice, a remnant of British colonial rule.

The colour yellow symbolizes the monarchy. The crescent symbolizes Islam, the official religion of Malaysia and the stars represent the 13 states and the federal territory. As for the shield, it has five kerises, or Malay warrior daggers, representing the five former Un-federated Malay States or unofficial states under the British rule. They were Johor, Terengganu, Kedah, Kelantan and Perlis. On the next section, from left to right: the coconut tree and the bridge represent the state of Penang. The four coloured columns that follow- red, black, white, yellow- represent the Federated States during British rule. The four colours make up all the colours of the flags of the Federated States. The green tree refers to the Melaka tree, which the state of Malacca is named after. As for the three sections below, the one on the left represents the state of Sabah and the one on the right, with a bird, represents Sarawak. Singapore's section, which used to be in the middle is replaced with the national flower, the hibiscus, after Singapore separated from Malaysia. The two tigers symbolize strength and courage. On the banner, there are the three words, 'Bersekutu Bertambah Mutu' which means 'Unity Is Strength'.

All around the construction are goat of arms for each state in Malaysia.

The first is the coat of arms of Malacca, a state down south- with the five daggers showing five famous warriors. The founder of Malacca, Parameswara saw a tiny mouse deer overpowering his much bigger hunting dog, took it as a good omen to establish his kingdom and named the place after the Melaka tree he was resting under. One can see the mouse deer and the tree on the coat of arms.

Next is the coat of arms of the southern state of Johor. The tigers refer to a time when these animals roamed free in Johor. The flowery decorations below the shield refer to what was once the two main products of Johor- pepper and gambier, or Cat's Claws.

Next is the coat of arms of the eastern state of Pahang. Yellow is the royal colour and black refers to the people. The head of the spear refers to the sovereignty of the Sultan.

Next is the coat of arms of the eastern state of Terengganu. The sword, long keris and mace are symbols of the State's authority. The book on the right symbolizes the Holy Quran and the book on the left the 'kitab'.

Next is the coat of arms of the north eastern state of Kelantan. The two deer refer to the favourite animal of the great female ruler of Kelantan, Che Siti Wan Kembang.

Next is the coat of arms of Sarawak, a state in the Island of Borneo in East Malaysia. The bird is the hornbill. The 13 secondary feathers on its wings and tail represent the 13 states of Malaysia. The hibiscus, which is the national flower, is found below the wings and the state motto is 'Bersatu, Berusaha, Berbakti' (United, Industrious, Loyal). On the bird's chest is a shield with the state colours: black, red and yellow.

Next is the coat of arms of Sabah, the other state in the island of Borneo in East Malaysia. The red stripe represents courage and sacrifice. White is the colour of purity while dark blue is the colour of peace and prosperity. The light blue denotes Sabah's status as a young state. The silhouette of Mount Kinabalu is the symbol of the unity of the people.

Next is the coat of arms of the northern-most state of Perlis, at the border of Thailand. In the centre is the word Perlis, and the wreath made of paddy stalks represents the main agricultural product, which is rice.

Next is the coat of arms of the northern state of Kedah. Again, the paddy wreath symbolizes Kedah's main agricultural product. The green coloured crescent moon is the symbol of Islam, and the shield stands for the strength and authority of the Sultan, the ruler of the state.

Next is the coat of arms of the northern state of Penang. On the top is the areca nut tree, or Pinang in Malay, from which the name Penang is derived. Inside the shield, the Penang Bridge symbolizes the unity between the State and the Federal Government.

Next is the coat of arms of the northern state of Perak. The crest on the Sultan's head-cloth is the symbol of his sovereignty, the crescent moon is the symbol of Islam and the rice flower denotes paddy planting, once the people's main occupation.

Next is the coat of arms of the central state of Selangor. The crescent moon and star in the centre represents Islam. The central red spear, the Sambu Warna, the sword on the right, the Keris Pendek and the sword on the left, the Keris Panjang, are part of the state's Royal Regalia. The calligraphy in red is the state's motto, 'Under the Protection of Allah'. A tali bengkung or broad belt worn by warriors of the state in ancient times appears below the motto.

Next is the coat of arms of the southern state of Negeri Sembilan. It features a shield with three diagonal bands of colour. Red symbolizes Negeri Sembilan's past links with the British; black stands for the Malay chiefs; and yellow is the colour of royalty. The nine stalks of paddy in the centre of the shield stand for the nine states in the original federation of Negeri Sembilan. In fact, Negeri Sembilan means land of nine states. The sword and the sheath above the shield represent justice; while the changgai putri staff between them is the symbol of the sovereignty of the ruler, the Yang Dipertuan Besar. The nine-pointed star below the shield also represents the original nine states.

We're done with all the states in Malaysia. You might know, there are three federal territories in Malaysia, which are Labuan, Putrajaya, and Kuala Lumpur.

Tugu Negara

Everyday, tourists come here and look in awe at the stately and imposing National Monument. Tugu Negara or National Monument was completed in 1966. Standing 15 metres or almost 50 feet high, it is made of bronze and was designed by the famous Austrian sculptor Felix de Weldon. De Weldon also sculpted the famed Iwo Jima Memorial in Virginia, United States.

The granite base has English and Malay Jawi words that read: 'Dedicated to the heroic fighters in the cause of peace and freedom. May the blessing of Allah be upon them'.

On August 27th 1975, a communist terrorist set an explosion at the monument and it suffered extensive damage. It was later restored and a fence was erected around the place. This area was declared a protected area between sunset and dawn. Everyday at dawn, a soldier raises the national flag and lowers in at dusk. Every 31st July on Warrior Day, a wreath laying ceremony takes place here.

Each figure symbolizes the seven virtues of the fallen heroes: leadership, suffering, unity, vigilance, strength, courage and sacrifice. The figures are made to be about four times that of human size. All of them are clad in military uniform. The figure holding the flag is the only figure that does not hold a gun. The two fallen soldiers represent two dead communists. You can differentiate them with the hats they wear.

In honour of the nation's heroes, the "Last Post" is sounded every Saturday from 6.00 p.m.to 6.10 p.m. except on public holidays. The "Last Post" is a bugle call used by military funerals and ceremonies commemorating those who have fallen in war. It is also a name of a poem by Robert Graves describing a soldier's funeral during World War One.

Depending on the weather, one might see the Malaysian flag flutter majestically in the wind. Called Jalur Gemilang or Stripes of Glory, the Malaysian flag has 14 alternating red and white stripes represent the 13 states and the federal government. The 14-point star and the crescent represents Islam as the official religion, the blue canton symbolizes unity. The yellow the royal colour.

There is a beautiful garden in the vicinity to cool off from the tropical heat. I hope you've enjoyed my guide on the national monument, familiarizing yourself with the 13 states of Malaysia and learning a little about Malaysian history.

¿Cuál es el principal (Principal) nombre de Dios todopoderoso y lo que él dice acerca de Jesucristo?

The main or principal name of Almighty God is "ALLAH". There is no plural of this word. Similar word is also available in the New Testament (Gospel). It is a view that this word means "Al - Elah" means "Deity". The word "Elah" means "Deity" and "to the" for "The" in Arabic.

The Gospels tell us about the last words of Jesus. According to the Gospels (New Testament) there are three different versions of the last words spoken by Jesus on the cross. The reason is that, only translations of the Gospel are available instead of the original text, revealed in Jesus.

According to mark (15: 34-35), Jesus cried with a great cry "Do Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?". Through the centuries, according to interpreters the last words of Jesus means "do my God, my God, why I've helpless?"

In Hebrew is "Does Eli, Eli, lama azabtani?" in Aramaic "Do Elahi, Elahi, motto sebaqtani?".

The word "Elahi" is available in Arabic, meaning "My God" or "My God". This word is also available in Psalms of David in the same meaning (the text of Psalm 22: 2 in Aramaic).

According to brand, followed by Matthew (27: 46-47) the element of screaming has been further stressed that some of those present at this time would have understood that he (Jesus) was calling for the Prophet Elijah.

According to John (19: 30) "as Jesus took wine, exclaimed: 'Finished' and bowing the head, gave his spirit."

Luke (23: 46) there is a third and a different version of the last words of Jesus "And screaming with a great cry Jesus said" father into thy hands I commit my spirit. "

It is obvious that the scene of the death of Jesus in the past can not be described in a book that revealed about him in his time of life. He is just a historic Declaration which has been added in the Gospel.

Let's talk about the word "father" cited in the translation of the Gospel. There is a word "Rab", meaning "Preserver, Cherisher, holder, teacher, deity or Lord". This word was also used for "father" and its plural is "arbaab" (verse No.31 of surah 9 of the last book of Almighty God.) When used for Almighty God there plural of this word.

Jesus had used the same word of God Almighty, which was wrongly translated as "father" of the interpreters. God Almighty is far from eating, drinking and sexual intercourse. Those who eat and drink are subject to death and never die. He is the creator and all the others are his creatures are subject to death. Adam was born without father and mother, and Jesus was born without a father as Almighty God is omnipotent (have power over all things). According to the verse Desprecio surah No.3 Aal-e-Imran (the family of Imran): "the likeness of Jesus before the Almighty God is like Adam;" He created him of dust, then said to him "To be" and was".

There are two categories of prophets; "Rasool" and "Nabi". The word "Rasool" is derived from the Arabic word "Irsaal" which means "Send". It is used for a Messenger of Almighty God blessed with a book, as Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them).

"Nabi" is a/Deputy to "Rasool" as Aaron, Solomon, Zachariah and John (peace be upon them).

The word "Nabi" derives from "Naaib" which means "Deputy or Assistant".

"Rasool" also has the powers of "Nabi" as such is greater than "Nabi". Each Rasool is also a Nabi, but it is not necessary that each Nabi is also a Rasool. Rasool was not killed or murdered as he was especially sent by God Almighty. However, other prophets who were not "Rasool" but only "Nabi", were killed as Zakariya (Zacharias) and John (peace be upon them). Jesus was also a "Rasool" (Messenger of Almighty God blessed with a book) may it was not appropriate for him to be killed and assassinated, but another person of the same likeness was crucified in his place. 156-159 Verses of surah No.4 "An-Nisa" (Women) of the last book of God Almighty say minors:

"He rejected faith;" he uttered against Mary a grave false charge; that they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of God;" but they killed him not, nor had crucified him. Only a resemblance of her was shown to them. And those who differ therein are full of doubts, without knowledge of (certain). But only conjecture to follow, for of a surety killed him not; Nay, Dios raised him alone; "God is exalted in power, wise and there are none of the people of the book but must believe in him before his death, and the day of judgment will be a witness against them."

God Almighty is also called "Rahmaan" (the most merciful) and also there is no plural of this word. The last two verses of surah No.17 "Bani Israel" (the sons of Israel) have as children:

"Say, appeal to Allah, or call upon Rahmaan: by any name calling him, (it is as well): for to him belong the most beautiful names." Neither speak of their prayer aloud nor speak tone bass, but seek a middle course between.Say, praise be to Allah (God Almighty), not generating any son and has no partner in (his) domain: or him any (should) protect him from humiliation: Yes, extended it for his greatness and glory! "

In verse of surah No.82 Almighty No.5 of God (Alá) admires the Christians and says, "nearest among them in love to the believers find those who say," we Christians "because among them are men devoted to learning and men who have renounced the world, and are not arrogant." Almighty God (ALLAH) sees the faith of inner core and says in verse of surah No.2 No.62: "those who believe and those who follow the Jewish (Scriptures) and the Christians and the Sabians, whoever believe in Almighty God (ALLAH) and the last day and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord, they will not fear, nor shall they cry".

Things about Islam you need to know

There are a lot of negative things about Islam that circulates the news these days. Obviously, terrorism and a violent Islamic holy war are negative. However, as I with concern is the other, more interesting things about Islam that provides instant points in common with the Christians and leads to inter-religious dialogue. It's interesting things and there are tons of the same.

Everyone knows about the five pillars and all those common things about Islam. But do you know about the five important truths about Jesus light the Qur'an gives faith of? In fact, there are more, but five is a good start. The Qur'an reveals the following about Christ:

1 Jesus was the son of Maria

2. Jesus was born of a Virgin

3. The day of his birth was blessed

4 Was declared a miracle for all men

5 He was without sin

Any of these truths serves as a springboard to the Bible? Certainly, all of them are quite effective. To communicate the Gospel to Muslims usually start with one of these bridges, and then simply say, "the rest of the story is in the Bible... you would like to read it?" By the grace of God, many a man has accepted the offer and received the Holy Book of God. Some never see again, however, others meet with mature Christians regularly to read and talk about it. It's the things about Islam that we appreciate. Allow me to lagoons of bridge of spiritual understanding of a person and get to the truth of the Gospel.

Let's practice together our deductive skills... Take a look at the following verses of the Qur'an. Can you find the points mentioned in them?

Look at! In Los Angeles, said: "Oh Mary!" Allah gives you glad tidings of a Word from him: his name is Jesus Christ, the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and the more beyond and (the company of) the closest to Allah; S. 3:45

She said: "O my Lord!" "How am I going to have a son when no man has touched me?" Said: "even so: Allah createth what he willeth: when he has decreed a plan, but he says, 'Be' and is!" S. 3:37

He said: Nay, I am only a Messenger from your Lord and (remember) that they guarded their chastity: he breathed us in her our spirit, and she made us and her son a sign for all peoples. (to announce) thee the gift of a Holy son. S. 19

So peace is with me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day I shall be increased up to life (again)! S. 19: 33

As you learn this and other interesting things about Islam, be careful to not be fooled by the occasional poor English translations from the original Arabic Quran. Sometimes poor Word options occur that you can change the understanding of a speaker of English of a text of the Qur'an. Sometimes, especially with regard to the death of Christ, gross misrepresentations of 'annoying' words are committed. Another thing that monitor for used Koranic passages to witness or to discuss with the Muslims without fully reading and understanding them first. I know a lot of things about Islam, but I am careful and determined in how to use the Qur'an. I don't use each verse or every angle of a common ground. Use the bridges that I know are robust and proven.

I say this because there are many "lists" out there with Koranic passages unproven and untested. Not only tell a Muslim a certain verse says ' this and ' without being certain that actually say that 100%. This is very embarrassing and can undermine the credibility. Are there any other things about Islam that you and I do not know? Of course there are. I continue to study and are they inclined to what I can take the bits of truth I found in the Qur'an which aim to Christ and the Bible.

Wadia Abdullah Ibn Az-Zahir is a fervent follower of Christ who travels extensively throughout the Middle East share the Gospel with Arab Muslims. There is much more about how to use the Qur'an and interesting things about Islam that can help us to produce more fruit. Simple approach of Wadia uses these types of Koranic bridges to Christ and is field proven and Christ honoring. http://www.islamandjesus.com.

I do not know is cheating, done! What Islam are they talking about? Part III of IV

All and every phenomenon (consciously or not) in the world that man is administered entirely by laws made by God, IE. they are obedient to God and submission to his laws, they are in the State of Islam. Man possesses the qualities of intelligence and the choice is therefore invited to submit to the good will of God and obey his law, i.e. to be a Muslim.

Submission to God's good will, together with obedience to his law beneficial, i.e. to become Muslim, is the best safeguard for peace and harmony throughout its existence of man.

What is still a subject to scrutiny in the Western world, based on the images of some distorted Islam would say is the concept of Jihad. Indeed the justification for Jihad is a complex and subtle issue. It is safe to assume that it is only until that carried out attacks (direct and indirect) delivered to the Muslim communities which, in somewhat disproportionate conditions, some counter-offensive occurred sporadically and somewhat strategically. The Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), the second largest intergovernmental organization after the United Nations which has membership of 57 States had distributed on four continents, has closed the trend of the prevailing Islamophobia throughout the world on XI session of the Islamic Summit held in the Senegalese capital Dakar on 13-14 March 2008. The organization urged Europe and America to take stronger measures against 'Islamophobia' in a report had been prepared for a Summit of the 57 members in Dakar and warned that an increase "alarming" anti-Islamic insults and attacks in the West has become a threat to international security. This monitoring group hopes that Europe and North America to do more, through legislation and social action, to protect Muslims from threats and discrimination and prevent insults against Islam's religious symbols.

Misleading errors were made in our time and in the middle ages (of Islam) due to an inaccurate interpretation of the Jihad. As it must be understood that the word "Jihad" is derived from the Arabic root "Juhd", which means "strive" and therefore used figuratively to religious wars. It seems that the word "Yudh", which is commonly used by Hindus to mean war, is actually a corruption of the word jihad. Since Arabic is the mother of all languages, emerged from which all other languages, the word "Yudh", which is Sanskrit means war is really the same as "juhd" or "jihad". Over time the letter "jim" was replaced by the letter "and" and then another alteration, the word spoken with phonetic emphasis.

Patriarchs and religious scholars have always been jealous of prophets and messengers of God due to its previous losses to disciples and prestige. This provoked the hostility of the scholars Pagan, Jewish and Christian and prevented them from accepting the truth in the time of Muhammad (PBUH). Orphans and weak, defenceless women were massacred in the streets and alleys. Even so, God sent there not be any retaliation against evil. While the streets ran red with their blood, not make a sound. This attitude of humility and firmness caused the enemies of Islam to intensify its persecution, and keep preying on that Holy community to date.

As a result of the foregoing, here comes the commandment which in other words, came to be known as Jihad. The language par excellence, which still stands in the Qur'an as specific to those days when people come into the fold of Islam were being slaughtered like sheep and lambs, as follows: Allah has heard the cryof oppression who are killed and converted unfairly from their land and allowed to retaliate. Allah is omnipotent and capable of helping the oppressed. (Al - Juzw 17, Surah al - Hajj).

I do not know is cheating, done! What Islam are they talking about? Part IV of IV

Most publicized Islamic scholars today completely misinterpret Jihad and misrepresented to the public in general. These scholars, of a species, are in fact responsible for murders committed by people ignorant, selfish, who ignore why Islam was forced to fight battles in its history. The billions of believers, who are the backbone of Islam have no need of Fame, prestige of material prosperity while it is substantial to the good life. Those who coin the politics of Islam today had a commitment that is coming to an end in this 21st century. Is carried out more research about Islam; the more unknown territories appear in the light towards the unexpected path cohesion in an interdependent world regardless of our individual missions. At the end of the Bush era, Rumsfeld announced new methods of rupture of soil which favor studies of the Middle East within its Department of former Pentagon to face more unknowns in Islam. Findings in Islam still pointing out the facts that we are dealing here with conscious people made aware of decisions based on the strains of modern life. Here is the time to make crystal clear: it is in the interest of peculiar excursive (scholars and Western policy) and to keep feeding the idea that Islam is a threat. With that premise, all awhile logistics counteroffensive is designed to "fight" a potential threat.

An associated press news, National President Barack Obama Security Adviser provides a refutation swept Wednesday (May 27, 2009) in charge of former Vice-President Dick Cheney that United States is less safe under the new administration.

Pointing to increases in spending, trying to get out of Iraq and revitalise the strategy for Afghanistan and a broad campaign repair the U.S. reputation abroad, former general of Navy James Jones said that the nation is safer today which has been in defence.

Imagine a moment: how much a joke and savings would be if the Western world realized that the scam of the century long that Islam is a threat was allegedly by a group of scholars somewhere in Arabia who wanted to fight another group of brotherhood to be and remain the godparents of Islam when there is no need to Godfatherhood all in the business of this God? It will surely take time until the real Islam accused together and that damage assessment policy of the branch of Islam and participated in a project of effective restoration is worth: the constituent largest in Islam is Pacific and was prepared to live in a manner consistent and peaceful, worker. What is happening in some other can affect me negatively, helping people help themselves will help change me... that touch you always will be, sooner or later. You can not live forever and enjoy life forever, which means that we are here on a mission, timeline and fundamentals that remains to be grateful to those who before and after us in concrete forms...Manage externalities always has been a matter of survival in Islam; But what to expect when those disseminating news are interested in the facets more eccentric of the truth?

How About a Cultural Islamic Renaissance Which Includes Maximum Freedom for Women?

The other day, I was speaking with an acquaintance and they brought up a very good point, and that was; what if the Islamic World had a renaissance which exploded with culture, new freedoms, art, and the advances of science? Consider if you will that the Middle East has a net inflow of global monies for oil and resources. Consider that the Middle Decentralists make very good businessmen (and women), and more and more folks are becoming highly educated. My acquaintance asks if within the next 8-years if this is possible? Well, these are all great concepts and questions so let's talk, shall we?

In my view, I'd say it is totally achievable, especially in key areas, in fact, it's already starting. Consider the progress in Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, and Turkey. We could see the same in Lebanon, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Iran, Iraq, and even Yemen, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Sure, I can see it plain as day, it's doable, even on that accelerated time-table.

Let's face it the Middle East needs the United States for the inflow of money, and the US needs the oil, and therefore like it or not we are coupled, and those mutual needs will not be changing anytime soon. It's obviously best if everyone gets along, and at some point the cultural differences must be celebrated for what they are and the differences understood, not as to barrier to friendship, but as a glimpse as to how others live and the wonderful diversity amongst human populations.

My acquaintance remind me that the US would be better off to assist in any way that the Middle East would ask for our assistance to help with a renaissance within their culture, regionally, or throughout, as the "Middle East will remain vital to US National interests." Yes, I agree with my acquaintance and would add something to that statement, because I don't see it as only in the Middle East.

I'd like to say that; "Every Region of the World remains vital to the US, and every nation, region, and peoples of planet earth have human interests to all nations and peoples!" So, with that said; "Ye" and plus; "we will continue to need the resources, as that light-sweet crude is perfect for our fuel needs here at home, and abroad."

So, since they need our money for their economy, and we do need the oil, we ought to find a way to mend our differences and move forward with a peaceful and friendly future. Please consider all this.

About Islam - Prayers In The Quran

The Quran provides us with many specific prayers that we may use for ourselves. The Quran contains the Contact Prayers in Sura 1, as well as other various prayers of supplication and commemoration. A list of Quranic prayers is provided here. God advises us in Sura 2, Verse 186: When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to Me...

In the name of GOD, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

The very first prayer we encounter in the Quran is the Contact Prayers. These are the specific words used by Muslims five times a day for Salat. Sura 1 (The Key), Verses 1-7: "Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe. Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Master of the Day of Judgment. You alone we worship; You alone we ask for help. Guide us in the right path; the path of those whom You blessed; not of those who have deserved wrath, nor of the strayers."

Other Quranic prayers are;

[2:128] "Our Lord, make us submitters to You, and from our descendants let there be a community of submitters to You. Teach us the rites of our religion, and redeem us. You are the Redeemer, Most Merciful."

[2:201] "Our Lord, grant us righteousness in this world, and righteousness in the Hereafter, and spare us the retribution of Hell."

[2:250] "Our Lord, grant us steadfastness, strengthen our foothold, and support us against the disbelieving people."

[2:286] "Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make mistakes. Our Lord, and protect us from blaspheming against You, like those before us have done. Our Lord, protect us from sinning until it becomes too late for us to repent. Pardon us and forgive us. You are our Lord and Master. Grant us victory over the disbelieving people."

[3:8] "Our Lord, let not our hearts waver, now that You have guided us. Shower us with Your mercy; You are the Grantor."

[3:16] "Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us our sins, and spare us the agony of the hellfire."

[3:26-27] "Our god: possessor of all sovereignty. You grant sovereignty to whomever You choose, You remove sovereignty from whomever You choose. You grant dignity to whomever You choose, and commit to humiliation whomever You choose. In Your hand are all provisions. You are Omnipotent. You merge the night into the day, and merge the day into the night. You produce the living from the dead, and produce the dead from the living, and You provide for whomever You choose, without limits."

[3:147] "Our Lord, forgive us our sins, and our transgressions, strengthen our foothold, and grant us victory over the disbelievers."

[3:191-192] "Our Lord, You did not create all this in vain. Be You glorified. Save us from the retribution of Hell. Our Lord, whomever You commit to Hell are the ones You have forsaken. Such transgressors have no helpers."

[3:193-194] "Our Lord, we have heard a caller calling to faith and proclaiming: `You shall believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, forgive us our transgressions, remit our sins, and let us die as righteous believers. Our Lord, shower us with the blessings you promised us through Your messengers, and do not forsake us on the Day of Resurrection. You never break a promise."

[6:162-163] "My Contact Prayers (Salat), my worship practices, my life and my death, are all devoted absolutely to GOD alone, the Lord of the universe. He has no partner. This is what I am commanded to believe, and I am the first to submit."

[7:23] "Our Lord, we have wronged our souls, and unless You forgive us and have mercy on us, we will be losers."

[7:126] "Our Lord, grant us steadfastness, and let us die as submitters."

[7:155-156] "...You are our Lord and Master, so forgive us, shower us with Your mercy; You are the best Forgiver. And decree for us righteousness in this world, and in the Hereafter. We have repented to You."

[10:10] ...Their prayer therein (in the Gardens of Bliss) is: "Be You glorified, our god," their greeting therein is, "Peace," and their ultimate prayer is: "Praise be to GOD, Lord of the universe."

[10:85-86] "We trust in GOD. Our Lord, save us from the persecution of these oppressive people. Deliver us, with Your mercy, from the disbelieving people."

[11:47] "My Lord, I seek refuge in You, lest I implore You ...for something I do not know. Unless You forgive me, and have mercy on me, I will be with the losers."

[12:101] "My Lord, ...Initiator of the heavens and the earth; You are my Lord and Master in this life and in the Hereafter. Let me die as a submitter, and count me with the righteous."

[14:35] "My Lord, make this a peaceful land, and protect me and my children from worshiping idols."

[14:40-41] "My Lord, make me one who consistently observes the Contact Prayers (Salat), and also my children. Our Lord, please answer my prayers. My Lord, forgive me ...and the believers, on the day when the reckoning takes place."

[17:80] "My Lord, admit me an honorable admittance, and let me depart an honorable departure, and grant me from You a powerful support."

[17:111] "Praise be to GOD, who has never begotten a son, nor does He have a partner in His kingship, nor does He need any ally out of weakness."

[18:10] "Our Lord, shower us with Your mercy, and bless our affairs with Your guidance."

[18:14] "Our only Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. We will never worship any other god beside Him. Otherwise, we would be far astray."

[23:94] "My Lord, let me not be one of the transgressing people."

[23:97-98] "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they come near me."

[23:109; 118] "Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and shower us with mercy. Of all the merciful ones, You are the Most Merciful."

[25:65-66] "Our Lord, spare us the agony of Hell; its retribution is horrendous. It is the worst abode; the worst destiny."

[25:74] "Our Lord, let our spouses and children be a source of joy for us, and keep us in the forefront of the righteous."

[26:83-87] "My Lord, grant me wisdom, and include me with the righteous. Let the example I set for the future generations be a good one. Make me one of the inheritors of the blissful Paradise... And do not forsake me on the Day of Resurrection."

[27:19] "My Lord, direct me to be appreciative of the blessings You have bestowed upon me and my parents, and to do the righteous works that please You. Admit me by Your mercy into the company of Your righteous servants."

[28:16] "My Lord, I have wronged my soul. Please forgive me."

[28:21] "My Lord, save me from the oppressive people."

[28:22] "May my Lord guide me in the right path."

[28:24] "My Lord, whatever provision you send to me, I am in dire need for it."

[37:100] "My Lord, grant me righteous children."

[43:13-14] As you rest on top of (what you ride on), you shall appreciate such a blessing from your Lord, and say, "Glory be to the One who subdued this for us. We could not have controlled them by ourselves. We ultimately return to our Lord."

[46:15] "My Lord, direct me to appreciate the blessings You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do the righteous works that please You. Let my children be righteous as well. I have repented to You; I am a submitter."

[59:10] "Our Lord, forgive us and our brethren who preceded us to the faith, and keep our hearts from harboring any hatred towards those who believed. Our Lord, You are Compassionate, Most Merciful."

[60:4-5] "Our Lord, we trust in You, and submit to You; to You is the final destiny. Our Lord, let us not be oppressed by those who disbelieved, and forgive us. You are the Almighty, Most Wise."

[66:8] "Our Lord, perfect our light for us, and forgive us; You are Omnipotent."

[71:28] "My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and anyone who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women..."

[112:1-4] "He is the One and only GOD. The Absolute GOD. Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten. None equals Him."

[113:1-5] "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak. From the evils among His creations. From the evils of darkness as it falls. From the evils of the troublemakers. From the evils of the envious when they envy."

[114:1-6] "I seek refuge in the Lord of the people. The King of the people. The god of the people. From the evils of sneaky whisperers. Who whisper into the chests of the people. Be they of the jinns, or the people."

[3:18; 47:19] GOD bears witness that there is no god except He, and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge ... "There is no other god beside GOD," and ask forgiveness of your sins and the sins of all believing men and women.

About Islam; Do Non-Muslims Go To Heaven?

I have seen this question before from many people; "You don't think any one other than a Muslim will go to heaven, right? I see the Muslim clerics telling their people to kill the non-Muslims; we Christians are the infidels according to them!" And it's true, we have all seen this. Indeed, it is a shocking statement which deserves a second look.

After all, these leaders are representing a whole religion when they make these statements in the name of Islam. We need to discern the extent of the truth behind this claim. We can look to the Quran, God's final and proven scripture, to see how the non-Muslims are addressed. Does God tell us that they may experience the final peaceful and joyous abode of heaven, or are they truly all destined for a miserable, bitter end?

Upon referencing the English Quran translation by Rashad Khalifa, we can clearly see the truth. Yes, God does assure us that there are believers destined for heaven in all different groups. We find that the words Islam and Muslim are more than just a name. They are a description of performing total devotion to God alone. The equivalent English word for Islam is Submission, which is practiced by a Submitter to God alone [1]. There are submitters who are Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, or from other backgrounds. All submitters who are devoted to God alone without setting up any idols are redeemed by God [2]. Thus, God's scripture, the Quran, tells us that His devoted worshippers, no matter what they call themselves, will go to heaven.

Islamic Shops - How They Help Others Learn About Islam

Religion is a topic of discussion that can be very controversial at times, as many people have different perceptions of the same doctrines. It is particularly hard for people belonging to different religions to understand and comprehend the various things that any particular religion teaches. For each person their faith and beliefs are the only way of life and it is not easy for them to show acceptance about other religions. An Islamic shop is a useful tool that can be very useful for non Muslims to learn about many things about Islam.

A normal Islamic shop carries numerous items that are significant for Muslims including Islamic clothing items, Praying equipment and Islamic books and CD's that contain oceans of information about Islam for Muslims as well as Non Muslims. There are books about the life of Prophet Muhammad, how to lead a good Muslim life, role of a person in a society, humanitarian and societal issues. Someone keen about learning more about Islam can easily do so from these books. Typically an Islamic shop which is located in an area where the majority is non Muslim can prove to be very advantageous in promoting the religion and gaining acceptance and tolerance from people of other faiths.

As Islam promotes ethical values like fair trade and good customer service by being polite and friendly towards the entire mankind, these features when exhibited in an Islamic shop can be very beneficial for the entire Muslim community living in a non Muslim area. People learn to trust and appreciate the good values that are a key part of Islam thus realizing that the followers of the Messenger of Allah are good, kind and humble people.

The negative media exposure due to terrorism globally has destroyed the peaceful image of Islam. An Islamic shop situated in an ethnic area where it can get traffic from different religions of the world can go a long way in restoring the positive impression that people had previously. In addition, the customers walking into an Islamic shop can view the different items that are trademarked with Muslims and understand their significance in a Muslim's day to day life. Prime examples are the Islamic clothing items like abayas, hijabs and jubbas. These garments are worn by Muslims as they follow the dress codes laid out in the Quran.

These loose fitting and modest clothing items are worn in order to preserve the honour and respect of the Muslims and have been worn by Muslims from the time of the Prophet Muhammad. Today the perception that only terrorists wear such clothes can be disregarded once people learn the religious importance of these items. In fact, today an Islamic shop can act as a binding force for expat Muslims as well as a sea of information about Islam for the non Muslims. These shops make the lives of people around them much easier and convenient.

What You Don't Know is Fooling You, Indeed! Which Islam Are You Talking About? Part II of IV

At a recent forum I attended in Washington DC, organizers didn't go other ways in addressing that mistaken Islam in such limited terms, quote: "The Islamist movement seeks to impose tenets of Islam, and specifically Shari'a law, as a legal, political, religious, and judicial authority both in Muslim states and in the West. It is generally composed of two wings-that which operates violently, propagating suicide-homicide bombing and other terrorist activities; and that which operates lawfully, conducting a "soft jihad" within our media, government, and court systems; through Shari'a banking; and within our school systems." End quote.

As it appears from the above, unfairly to common sense, organizers pinpointed "two wings, that which operates violently, propagating suicide-homicide bombing and other terrorist activities; and that which operates lawfully, conducting a "soft jihad". What about the Islam on behalf of which we remain truly faithful and desire for others what we desire for ourselves? What about that Islam on behalf of which billions of Muslims every year engage in a journey made of sacrifices and self privation aimed at sharing the suffering, hunger and thirst along with performing good acts in order to remind ourselves of the very daily existence many others face regardless of creed, race, gender and religion somewhere out there? As recently admitted Washington post's Anthony Shaddid about Obama's tour in the Middle East this June 2009, "lies by a generation of authoritarian Arab leaders to their people have given many a healthy skepticism of any public statement, whatever the source".

The United States of America proudly vows such a cult to modernism, Americanism in the name of its great ideals: freedom, expansionism, and lately, thanks to ecological consciousness, sustainability. In other words because America has conquered so much with so big and for so long, it has acquired such a strong mindset known not to do well with the interference of the outside norms... The United Nations questioned legitimacy when it comes to setting the rules and resolutions nations have to go by being redundantly challenged by United States "exceptionism" is a flat evidence of it's propensity to antiquated imperialism. Now that cold war is less intense than what it was a couple of decades ago, ideology and the fight it takes to prevail on one another seems to be the battle ground that draws more rethorics than common sense.

"Man is the enemy of what he does not know." says the Greek as well as the Arabic proverb to assess the scope and impact of such a limited description, stemming from obviously limited understanding of Islam at large. Islam is derived from the Arabic root "Salema": peace, purity. Islam dates back to the age of Adam and its message has been chronologically conveyed to man by God's prophets and messengers, including Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Islam's message has been restored and enforced in the last stage of the religious evolution by God's last prophet and messenger, Muhammad (PBUH). Submission is the key, one way or another. Paradoxically the more we seem to rebel against that submission the more it is obvious that we demonstrate our dire need for some guidance of a spiritual order yet to be defined.
