Renounce the religion and obtain peaceful?

I have a strange feeling that many times our religions produce opposite effects that we assume that they must. For example, Buddhism stressed three things; discipline, compassion and wisdom; and the Christian communities stress renounces violence, forgiveness and unconditional love. But do to Buddhist and Christian communities exhibit their declared values?

Buddhist, even to the Buddhist monks, they are fighting for freedom in Tibet and Sri Lanka. Christians struggle against Islamic terrorists in Iraq and the Middle East. The Jews, are reportedly fighting almost everybody! And I am sure that somewhere, Buddhists, Jews and Christians are fighting each other about something or another. It seems that if our passions are awake enough, religious guidelines go to the window.

This raises a thorny issue; If religions only work for those who follow religiously, and even supporters depart as passions tell you, how can that religion is supposedly the magic balm that keeps humanity sane it be? It doesn't do that. In fact, some of the most vicious fighting that has ever taken place, it has taken place between religious factions. It's almost as if the role of religion is but a placator between passions, a journey of guilt enormous to offset our inherent violence.

This is all speculation, of course, but if it is true that religion has never fundamentally changed the violent nature of mankind, it could be that our violent nature can never be tamed and only needs a passionate trigger?

On the other hand, is that humanity to become triggerless or multibotón, where no matter how difficult are pushed our buttons, do not pull the trigger it possible? I believe that this is possible. Not only possible, but the great potential that humanity offers the universe. I believe that we cannot all be like Christ and Buddha - as. I think we have that potential.

Do if the religion is only a convenient hideout and subterfuge from our real nature, which appears to be violence, what if we fell religion entirely by what we see our true nature without rationalize or deny it? Perhaps only we be religious? I think that what hooks us about religion is the psychological need to live after the death of somehow, i.e., mostly age lies in churches! It is this continuation of ego, I think, is the basis of religion. In other words, the foundation of religion is to save our own inspiration!

If I am not mistaken and this is why we pray to save us, I can see why never reach our violence. We are still trapped in what is good for us, is what will happen with us, and therefore remain fearful because we ourselves must be protected.? It is only passing thoughts about others, in a lame attempt to agree with our religious tenants. What really interests us is ourselves, and we even use our religions to promote ourselves. How can this ever heal our violence? The event involves violence, because it implies the promotion of us pushing ahead of someone or something else.

If our religious freedom is always threatened, for example as threatened in Tibet, the fear is that we can practice our religion and therefore will not go to heaven or Nirvana. But what a collective practice of religion has to do with our individual salvation? As we are aware, we can practice out internally regardless of where we are. Fear is not, someone telling us what can and cannot be done, and this awakens passion. It's strong will.

No one said the Buddha or Christ that he could not walk as a vagabond homeless, penniless. Who would care? It is only when pose us a threat to someone who breaks out the violence. So the question should be; our religions pose one threat to others and if so, why? Do do threaten others by our religion? Do we carry without our organized religions and find peace within our own hearts?

Christ and the Buddha, not rely on Judaism or Hinduism, seem to have pulled this come with their own truths. Could we do the same? I think that if we knew how we could. But how would it be? What did the Buddha and Christ different from what we do now?

On the one hand, they do not go to the synagogue or temple; He struck out on his own. Also, both spent much time in solitude, dessert or in the forest. And finally, lived their ideals, instead of talking only about them while the agendas hidden, others.

If this technique worked for these two men, why not us? Have they how many of us spent much time in solitude, in the desert or in the forest or at least in the solitude of our own minds? On the contrary, we surround ourselves entertainment and friends, never a dull moment. This difference would be the indication that we are looking for ending our internal violence; can simply be with us long enough to understand the futility of violence, the futility of win?

Finally, adventurous people will try a new way, simply because the old ways are producing the same results that have plagued humanity forever. And if you include new way to organized religion, still has to be seen.

The Buddha said that the Buddhist religion is similar to a raft, only a method of eliminating the cycle of birth and death. He asked,

"And when you are in everything, they will continue to carry the raft in the head?"

¿Quién dice que programa Nuclear de Irán es sólo con fines pacíficos?

"Peaceful my rear end," was the comment I heard from the retiring general in the US military as he gave a speech and answered questions about the Iranian nuclear weapons program. Very few political analysts, geopolitical gurus, military men, State Department employees, or foreign nations are fooled by the Iranian regimes trickery, tactics, or half-truths during negotiation on this issue. Okay, so let's talk about this for a moment shall we?

Now then, who says that Iranians nuclear program is for only peaceful power generating purposes? Apparently, the only people who are saying this is the Iranian regime itself. Even the United Nations admitted along with the IAEA that Iran has been skirting the issue, and continuing their nuclear weapons program even during the sanctions, multiparty talks, and all their promises that they have stopped enriching uranium for that purpose.

CNN recently reported that Iran was hot on the trail of its nuclear weapons program on November 8, 2011 titled; "U.N.: Iran's work "specific to nuclear weapons," where they stated;

"The report is the strongest sign yet that Iran seeks to build a nuclear arsenal, despite claims to the contrary. With Israel threatening a military response, the report opens the way for a new confrontation between the West and Iran. In its latest report on Iran, the International Atomic Energy Agency outlines the sum of its knowledge on the Islamic Republic's alleged secret nuclear weapons work."

Of course, nothing in this report is news to the US Intelligence Community, CIA, or even a well-read news junkie here in the US, as there are ways to learn all this information fairly easily just watching and reading the news. Now then, I ask is the US now going to use the intelligence information from the United Nations and the IAEA rather than trying to purport CIA intelligence? Perhaps, and perhaps this administration doesn't want to end up on the losing side of the stick, as the Bush Administration did in Iraq over the WMD issue.

A nuclear weaponized Iran would immediately have all of the nations in the Arab League seeking nuclear weapons, and it is obvious that Iran would also give its technology to Venezuela, Syria, and other players which it might be able to use to garner favorable trade agreements, and client nations which would support the Iranian regime. That in itself is a problem, but it doesn't address the biggest fear.

The sum of all fears of course would be proxy terrorists with a nuclear weapon in a new dawning age of nuclear terrorism. That is definitely something the world doesn't need, but it is a probable potential eventuality if Iran starts producing nuclear weapons. Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.

Islam is Peaceful and America Starts All the Wars

If you listen to the Arab world media you would swear that every single problem that the modern day Muslim faces is in fact caused by the United States of America. This simply is not so of course and such notions are completely and BS, but when listening to Al Jazeera you might actually believe that.

This anti-American Middle Eastern mass media is purporting and misrepresenting what the United States of America is all about and it is inciting many young Muslims to go onto the Internet and post negative comments about America on Internet forums.

As these Muslims go onto the Internet forums they claim that Islam is the peaceful way of life and their Muslim religion preaches peace, however in debating this topic with online I had to make the following comment;

"Besides didn't Mohammed, fight in 89 battles? Isn't that what Koran says? You want to defend a religious doctrine, which preaches war? You don't get it do you? This is the problem and the United States of America is the solution and it is coming in a very precision-guided way in the new net-centric battlespace. Iran starts it and well I guess we have to finish it. Get it? Got it? Good!"

Perhaps you see the problem as the President of Iran states that it wants nuclear energy and a nuclear deterrence and therefore it has the right to make nuclear weapons. No mention of the fact that they sponsor international terrorists organizations, which go and blowup innocent people. Obviously if Iran has nuclear weapons it will give these weapons to international terrorists organizations to blowup innocent people in some large civilian population or city and we just can't let that happen. Consider this in 2006.

Peaceful Religions?

If you say that Christianity is a peaceful religion according to scripture then it can be said that Islam, according to scripture is peaceful. In reality, both the Koran and the Bible present a dichotomy, promoting peace and violence. They both contain quotes that are peaceful and some not so peaceful quotes.

In Luke 19:27, Jesus himself says,

"But those enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them - bring them here and kill them in front of me."

Now the popular phrase...what would Jesus do?...doesn't sound to good, does it?

The Koran also has many quotes like 2:190,

"The believer is called upon to fight in the way of God with those that fight with you...but aggress not. God loves not the aggressors."

The point of using quotes is to show that using quotes is pointless. They can be twisted around and interpreted in a multitude of ways. Organized religion and now, politics,

are both guilty of using propaganda, containing quotes from the Bible or whatever text is appropriate, trying to influence the reader.

Fundamentalists are guilty of using religious texts and incorrectly interpreting them to arrive at the, "I am right, therefore you are wrong" mentality. This mentality can be dangerous; it can led to extremism. Extremists do not represent God but their own agenda. There have been countless cases of religious extremists justifying killing others by following quotes of scripture or I should say, their misguided interpretations of quotes of scripture.

Islam and Christianity have dark pasts (and in some cases, dark presents) because man got involved in interpreting the scriptures. Islam is no crueler than Christianity.

The "Golden Rule" is the key, not the Koran, the Bible, or any other organized religion's text. Some form of Christianity's Golden Rule is present in almost every religion. All religions preach peace but do the followers practice peaceful beliefs?
