Arabs and Jews - a response to a ridiculous question ridiculous

The question? How parties warring with similar ethnicities, but diametrically opposed, stop hate ideologies and sacrifice each other? Follow echo the cynical words of the American expatriate writer who lived in Paris in the first part of the 20th century: "there is no answer". No there will be no response. There has never been a response. "That is the response-" Gertrude Stein 1936.

In a previous article on face saving I suggested that diplomats try to change lenses with their opposites in order to better understand one another. In the West we often say "put in the shoes of the other guy," which is really a simplification. Negotiators must live within heads and hearts - with all religious dogmas and historical background involves an effort of such. There are many descriptions of religious denominations. I chose the simplest who could find three of them.

1 Islam: A monotheistic religion characterized by the acceptance of the principles of Muhammad, the last Prophet of God and whose precepts are contained in the Koran. (The Prophet Ibrahim, whose son is called Ismail, plays a key role in Islam).

2 Judaism: The religion monotheistic Jews, trace their origins to Abraham and have their ethical and spiritual principles embodied mainly in the Hebrew Scriptures and the Talmud. (Abraham, whose son is called Isaac, is the founder of the Israelites Patriarch).

3 Christianity: A monotheistic system of beliefs and practices based on the old testament and the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament and emphasizing the role of Jesus as Saviour. According to Abraham, would come to all Nations to worship God through their offspring. (The life of Abraham is in the book of Genesis, as well as the Koran).

Jews and Arabs are also descendants of Abraham and Ibrahim, but same Abraham was "Jewish" nor "Enriquezido" Nah, I'm not going there.

I never understood how so many bad things could evolve as much positive education. I understand that it is impossible for opponents to think rationally when they are blinded by hatred and ignorance of "you do this to me, and I will do to you." That the Jews of Israel and its enemies in the Middle East have more in common culturally the majority of peoples of other places is mind blowing. Do but rather than fighting about what was said and done by the sages of antiquity, what if the present adversaries started now? What happens if they focused on what they have in common, rather than the small piece of land to those who are dying? Despite these rants of the current Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and representative of Hezbollah leader, Sheik Hassan Nasrallah, propose this solution if the absurd.

Do we suppose that representatives of the warring sides were to sit a comfortable place where refreshments are served and the media are excluded (what has been said here stays here)? Egos, KalashniKovs and m 16s have been in the door. Old grudges and ancestors have been where they belong to rest in peace. Tibetan monks not partisan have been appointed mediators to ensure that the discussions not to fall into what each one did to another two thousand years ago to the present day.

Similar to "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", now have in place the people learned more intelligent from all sides whose negative memories have been practically deleted, and whose cooperation could be mutually beneficial. If this scenario unrealistic and absurd can start right now, the possibility to manifest peace and prosperity in what used to be the paradise of holiday. The only requirement: the parties involved have a desire to sincere and determined to leave a better world for their offspring. A journalist had recently quoted Golda Meier. "They have to love their children more than they hate their enemy." The Dixie Chicks song about need for love brings to mind a passage from the Bhagavad — Gita (spiritual Hindu scriptures).

"Who offers me with love , a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or even water, appear in person before devotee of the mind without sin and deliciously participate of this article offered by him with love."

This article began with a question. Love, the basis of all spiritual Scriptures, is the only answer.
