Emotionalism has no place in religion

It is true that Alá (God) can prove a person in this world with certain difficulties and concerns. However, the believer not to melancholy and pessimism when faced with such concerns; He does not react emotionally. He knows that Alá is trying to him to see how will it behave in difficulty, and that the solution is not to weigh crying or sad. The solution lies in the search for the help of Allah, "Which responds to the oppressed when they call upon him and removes his anguish" (Qur'an, 27: 62), only trusting in him and be certain that Alá will hear your prayers and grant their requests. This is the promise of Allah to his servants:

Yes, the friends of Allah will not feel fear and sadness will not know: those who believe and have fulfilled their duty, there is good news for them in the life of the world and the most there. There is no change in the words of Allah. It is the great victory! (Surah Yunus: 62-64)

In addition, Alá creates such difficult moments of anxiety and distress for a very special reason. When someone looks through the eyes of faith and sees the reasons behind all the beauty that Alá has created, he moved to compassion, and will increase your satisfaction. Therefore, submission to Allah brings a sense of calm to the spirit and allows us to live with peace of mind.

Emotionalism, on the contrary, completely away to people of conscience to be in the hands of Allah and leads them to react to situations with excessive pleasure, or exaggerated pain and sadness. Allah says in the Qu'ran wavering of persons between despair and the arrogance and the difference between them and the believers:

If leaves us at the mercy of man of us taste and then take it away from him, he is desperate, thankless; But if we leave him blessings taste after hardship has affected him, says, "my problems have disappeared", and is thrilled, swaggering, except for those who are strong and right actions. You will receive forgiveness and a great reward. (Surah Hud: 9-11)

Emotionalism expressed more often in women such as sadness, pessimism and crying, while in men it usually appears as anger, the irascibility and aggression. For example, when an emotional man sees that it has taken its place in a parking lot by someone else, it will be screaming and kicking the car of intrusion. Or, if someone stumbles with him on the sidewalk by mistake, easily lost his temper.! Or, if your son or daughter left the House and forgot the key inside, if a waiter is end of bring the draft law, if a Secretary makes him wait on the phone, or if he is irritated by the traffic, said the first thing that comes to your mind. Address problems that a rational person could be easily, even without occupying his mind with the hundreds of details involved, an emotional person might react in way unnecessarily exaggerated. And most of the time, he only harms himself and ends up humiliated.

Emotionalism in men takes the form of anger and irascibility and is often regarded as the quality of a "dura-chico" or "male". This psychology is merely an amalgamation of anger and romance, while the majority of those affected is unbalanced and has a tendency to lose the Stirrups, or "they shut down the handle". As a result of a moment of thoughtlessness, which can hurt or injure someone or even kill; his victim could easily be a total stranger.

Pages of newspapers are often filled with crimes and offences committed by this type of personality. A night that could have started pleasantly suddenly could come to an end when an emotional man becomes angry and hits a friend or someone close to him. Walking on the street you can take a knife and stab some unknown person "looked it sideways." For a minute, they can be transferred to their passions and then just spend the rest of his life in prison. More important still, if he kills or harms someone, without just cause, otherwise there will be committed a grave sin in the sight of Allah.

Irascible emotionalism in a person is a potential danger that can explode at any time and have very serious repercussions. An emotional person may be angry if someone makes a bad move in traffic, or if anyone knows not search it in way to make him uncomfortable, or some simple misunderstanding and then act in the form of only bring himself all kinds of problems and pain.

A clear example of the injustice that emotionalism gives rise to can see the brutal behaviour of some fans after a football match. Assault on people who do not know and almost kill them with sticks, knives and meat intelligent. Their minds and consciences are blinded by the Satanic weapon of emotionalism, truly a serious pest in the society. But Allah commands humans to prevent Satan, to establish peace and security, not anger and conflict.

What you think! Enter in peace (Islam). Do not follow the steps of Satan. He is an absolute enemy to you. (Surat al - Baqarah: 208)

Prophet Muhammad also preached serenity among believers, saying "the Fort is not one that beat people with his force, but the Fort is the one that controls himself in anger".

Here it is necessary to distinguish between sentimentality and rationality. Anger and hatred felt in response to acts of cruelty and evil make a person more sensitive and aware of the justice, peace and kindness and they motivate to fight for the eradication of cruelty and evil, for its prevention and for the protection of the rights of the weak and the innocent. If the sense of Justice that Alá gave to mankind is not controlled by the will and wisdom, they can be diverted from its true purpose and flare against supporters of an opposing sports club. People who do not have a strong will and wisdom can not suppress their emotions and can be directed in any direction from the true path may want Satanás. In another verse, Alá warns against Satanás humanity:

What you think! Do not follow the steps of Satan. Who follows in the footsteps of Satan should know that you command the indecency and the wrongdoing. If not please Allah and his mercy, not one of you never would have been purified. But Allah wills it who purifies. Allah is All-hearing, all-knowing. (Surat un-Nur: 21)
