The virtues of the Darud

Truth ALLAH and his angels recite Salat on the Prophet, Oh believe! Call for the blessings of ALLAH upon him and greet him saying that peace is you. Suratul Ahzaab: 56 Ayah.

Ta'ala ALLAH has ordered many things in the Holy Quran as Salat, in fasting, hajj etc.. Ta' wing has also mentioned the lives of many of the Ambiya alayhim us salaam has them honoured and emphasized its noble status; even recalling how los Angeles is commanded prostrate before alayhis Salam of Sayyidina Adam.

However, there is only a single command that ALLAH Ta' wing says that himself performed and instructed believers to follow suit - and is the virtue of darud. There is no further action that equates with this.

Some points that should be noted on the ayah where the Holy Prophet (saw) is an honour so beautifully by Rabbul Alameen. The first is that the ayah begins with "inna". Arabic students will tell you that this word indicates a strong emphasis and serves to underscore the action that follows. The second point worthy of note is that the time spent in this ayah is present and this indicates that the action is continuous and taking place at all times. SubhanALLAH!

Some may think that we are doing the Holy Prophet (saw) a favor or increase its greatness and range when we recite darud him, but this is a misunderstanding and not in line with reality. When ALLAH Ta' wing has already declared himself to be reciting Salat after the Nabi, really believe that the Salat of any of the creation will make difference atoms weighing the State granted already Nabi (VI) by Ta'ala ALLAH? Obviously not.

Do so it raises the question why we we be commanded to call for ALLAH blessing to Sayyidina Rasulullah (VI)?

The answer to this can be found in many ahadeeth, including:

Anas Sayyidina reports that Nabi (saw) said: "my name is presence in who is mentioned he should recite Salat about me and who recites Salat with me once, it will be ten mercy send ALLAH forgive sins ten and also raise his rank ten times."

(Ahmad, Nasa'ee, Ibn HIbbaan)

So we can see that, Ta'ala ALLAH in his infinite mercy, gives us blessing and blessing and good when we recite Salat after Nabi (Sierra). In fact it is a great gift for us and a great reward. There is no shortage or inventory when it comes to the treasures of ALLAH because they are huge and deep. Is how merciful our ALLAH that statement merely of a few words of love and respect and honour of the Holy Messenger converted in the midst of our salvation and a means for our own honor short?

There are many books available with different daruds but according to my professors darud or Salat is classified as those words or versions of darud that set out from the Ahadeeth and are taught by the Holy Prophet (saw). Other people have written about the love and respect are not classified as darud but are rather under the banner of "naat" or poetry in praise of the Prophet (saw). Also - they have taught us that the best of daruds is Darud and Ibraheemi, i.e., one that is commonly and widely read at the end of the sentence and this is the one that should try to recite more often.

Can Ta'ala ALLAH gives us the ability to comply at least with this small aspect of religion and do our wet tongues with the Final darud Prophet (saw) and through it may our hearts be loved with real respect and obedience to ALLAH and his Messenger - Amen
