The prism of the history of the distortion effect

Yesterday, we bid farewell to George w. Bush and had our consecutive presidential transition of 43 ° without violence and bloodshed. This does not mean that there was no ill will, like the multitude of followers of Obama clear when the outgoing President was introduced, showing the bitterness and bad form in what should have been their happiest moment. However, however, it is still a remarkable streak in a span of almost 240 years and something that every American must be very proud.

Now is the time for the new President to work in the business of the nation, but also for historians to get busy, well... history. What will he say future textbooks on the man who will guide us through the past eight years? What volumes will be written, what novels he wrote? As it is the nature of the story, only time can tell, but we now have an immediate recollection of the past eight years. Let's go back and take a look.

It was clear from the outset that the left does not want to be President George w. Bush. In fact, the elections of 2000 were as close as we would never come to not have this peaceful transition of power. The debacle in Florida cost the new weeks of administration of a precious time in store configuration. In the end, however, Bush prevailed and the opposition won directly to the task of shooting down him at every turn. We have seen the evolution of the media of reporters straight to spread propaganda tools. We saw the real, poisonous natures of actors we have treasured once, and saw something much worse soon after; We saw the horrible face of radical Islam close and personal.

We saw something much more significant in those days, too, something that will remain in the memory of all time; We saw a true leader and a man of great compassion and love for his people and his country. We saw George w. Bush who was really, something that is not often exposed politicians at all, let alone Presidents. And we saw a fierce determination to steal in his countenance.

Most of the country suddenly fell in love with President Bush and the swell of pride was palpable, but was not intended to last a long time. (I remember see American flags in almost every car). That does not last for a long time, either, as now note that apart from my own, there is very few cars on the road with a flag waving proudly.) Once the Iraq Bush war began began to wane in favour despite having the majority of Congress behind him. Politicians and people both forgotten quickly that we joined and bitter partisanship again ruled the day. However, days turned to weeks, months and years without another attack on our soil.

While the Conservatives would have preferred many, Bush has a unique quality of Reagan-esque is undeniable; It is the absolute transparency of the man. We have come to know him better as any citizen can know a President in eight years, and obviously is nothing pretentious about him. He exudes the image of a favorite uncle.

For all this man has done in his eight years in Office, has been vilified every step of the way, not only by political adversaries, but by means of communication once appreciated by journalistic integrity. This long mantle has disappeared and I doubt that it will make a return in the foreseeable future. All I can hope is that historians do not fall into the same trap as contemporary experts and take your time to consider carefully what I know to be true; that George w. Bush was a better President that many are led to believe at present.

Yesterday was in fact a historical and I hope that it will help to heal the racial divide by what many are still convinced there is, whether in their minds only. With it, will miss President George w. Bush but I am so grateful for having lived through his two terms and I appreciate your service to the United States of America. I would ask that it is remembered through a panel of ordinary glass and not the triangulada view of a Prism.

Speed of God and thank you Mr President.
