Religion of Islam advocated that his people were well off to share with you are poor, Zakat in Islam is part of Syariah. One procedure to trim and even eradicating poverty is the Islamic principle of Zakat.

What does it mean zakat?

Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam. As a Muslim you follow these principles. As a Muslim you follow these principles in the same intention as you would follow the 10 commandments as a Christian.

Muslim has five pillars

The first was the Shahada, it means that you commented that there is only one god and that Muhammad is his prophet.

The second pillar is praying five times a day. Muslims pray five times a day.

The third pillar is Ramadan. Ramadan is fasting for one month in a year during the month of Ramadan.

The fourth pillar of Islam is zakat.

The fifth pillar is the pilgrimage to Makkah, once in your life if you can afford.

Zakat is the fourth pillar of Islam. According to this, as people who have money and / or other wealth achieved, pay 2.5 percent of the wealth out horrible. This 2.5 percent is the fraction of taxes or other charity. You can pay money to the local mosque or school, but it is not considered charity. Zakat is only for the horrible and the needy, paid by the property.

What is the reason to pay Zakat? In Islam there is the principle that society is responsible for the environment and its people, dishonest government. As a society, you have a collective responsibility to raise and take care of dire need.

If everybody would pay their dues of 2.5 percent there would be no need for any setup by government cultural benefits, community care will remove it.
